Standing alone at over 14,000 feet. It’s would be an amazing feeling to have the experience to hike Rainer, one of the greatest views in all of Washington. Until that day comes I’ll take this view over anything
Waking up at 4:30 am, layering up in clothes, putting our head lamps on and heading to the trailhead to catch sunrise. About 3.5 miles of ice and snow covered trails filled with free bear pawl prints in the Black morning. But the fear of night and falling on my ass in the ice was well worth my time and energy. Keep the mind busy #summitlake
🐮Holy cow!! .
Sometimes when I'm around animals I wonder how is it that they are even real? It just seems so magical. .
I like to pretend that I just landed on this planet from somewhere else. How amazing would animals be!? What if somebody gave you a ball and it had plants, water, little clouds and thunder storms and real life on it...like teeny tiny people and animals walking around and it literally just floated. You would think it was pure magic and priceless. You would protect it and be in such awe. We are that teeny tiny planet! 🌍 .
I have regular "stoner moments"...even though I'm not...😂
Trying to figure out where to hike seems to be the hardest part. Reaching the peaks before sunset and reach the trail head before turns into dark. We go out even when we have to drive far, hike in the dark, or even have to visit the same place a few times until we get it right.
"...bütün tanışmalardan, başlangıç ve bitişlerden, sevecenlik, aşağılama, ayrılık ya da gidiş dönüşlerden, büyük bunalımlar ve şaşkın, yaralı dolaşmalardan sonra bir gün acı çekmekten bıkmış olduğumu düşünüp düz bir çizgiyi özledim. Düz. Dümdüz. Yatağında uslu bir su gibi akmaya özendim..."
I had a blast whitewater rafting for the first time this weekend on the Tieton River out in Central Washington! I've wanted to go for years, so I'm glad I finally got out on the water. I got thoroughly soaked, but it was worth it!
The in between. Those moments when you look back and are proud of how far you've come but then look forward and realize how far you have to go.
And all of a sudden the journey that once seemed exciting has become overwhelming, cloudy and messy.
Or is it that your perspective has changed? Sometimes when we're pushed to our limits we start seeing the world around us a little different.
But it's important that we stay true to who we are, believe in our abilities to overcome and have faith that no matter what, it will all be well. #believeinyourself
I've been exploring Oregon's Willamette Valley this week, an area known for their beautiful vineyards and wineries. There was nothing better this morning than waking up with my cup of coffee and having a view of the vineyards as the sun came up.
