Everyone and I mean everyone goes through their own level of pain. But actually that's precisely how we perceive it, as a "level," although we shouldn't. In reality there is no scale for these kinds of concepts as pain and feelings. Everyone's situation is so unique and complex that no one can say "it's not as bad for you" simply because they are not the recipient of that sort of pain. God has created us so articulately that every individual has a different threshold for pain and accordingly the test and hardship they will face is determined for them. That's why I'm here to apologize for ever undermining anyone's situation by saying that there are worst situations I have known. But I will stress upon the fact that we should learn about those other situations because it only makes us grateful for what we have rather than wishing for what we don't have.
I truly believe that there are no levels to pain. Pain has no extremes. Pain is there whether it is over a heartbreak or over the loss of a child. God's glory is in that He doesn't give anyone more pain than they can already handle. Thus all pain is equal and no one is tested beyond their limits. He balances pain and person. We just need to build our character and develop our habits to be able to heal our pain rather than suffer from it.

"Love flowed up and down my unpaved sheets
Warmth, comfort and peace clung onto my celibate sheets
Songs danced around the coils of my hair
and beckoned the sun to join in on its celebration..." -#MaquitaDonyel , "#StoriesofaPolishedPistil : Unpaved" is the second #poetry book of a series. 021018, Click the in the bio to be notified as soon as the book is released. | #UnpavedBook | photo credit: @imanifineartphoto
Before i could write
They taught me
As we grow it changes
My parents told me
To be more complex
So explain to me this
I have grown to adulthood
I stand here
In front of you
Trying to understand how you brought all the magic back
Aren't we now supposed to see the cruel truth?
Every centimetre you grow
Less wonder exists
We drink the world to feel this beauty kids see everyday
We step skeptical to a world that has primary colours
Between logic and books we slide the right brain into non existence
So trapped in a dark hole
You make me see
I feel all the pumps your smile produces
In the mist of chaos i feel my security in your arms
But you are not comfort but yet a ride of amusement
From touching our hearts
From a hug to collision
We dive into laughter in our own language
You have the key
I have yours
To the home we are building together
In our world
A house in a tree
Filled with all we love
One day it will be our escape
When we lay down
In our house of reality
- just my notes
Who is up for some collaboration beer? Collaboration books perhaps? Tried to pick a variety on this one. Books combining input from a variety of authors but I know I’m missing some good ones.
Inspired by @michael_v_ivanov and his book chair of philosophy I’ve gone with a beer stand / photo booth of collaboration.
As you can see I stepped up my Brockman books as I find them a great way to enjoy a variety of subjects. Dig into those you like.
Beer is a collaboration between @bigrockbrewery , @commoncrownbrew and @northerngirls_hops, not as hoppy as I would have thought. More malty on this one which was a surprise.
but i want him. i want to fight for us. i want us to be something. i want to make us work. it’s really hard when you feel a strong deep feeling for someone and that person doesn’t seem to feel the same. why can’t you love me? - do i even have time to have a boyfriend?
