1958 Universal Genève Polerouter with beautiful brown dial and gilt print and crosshair.
The Polerouter was created in 1954 to celebrate the first polar-route, by Scandinavian airlines, flying from Copenhagen to Los Angeles over the North Pole, shortening the journey by thousands of miles and several hours. The trip took a full 24 hours back then, on a four propeller Douglas DC-6 airplane with about 70 seats.
Some of the Polerouters we've sold over this year. Which one would you choose?
All original untouched, original signed crowns, Microrotor movements and every single one with its correct and original signed crystal with trapezoidal, circular or no date magnifier...miss them so much!
