🔥Sorry, I was gonna go vegan, but your tone really turned me off of it. ▪️So I did some research, found out about all the horrible practices done to livestock animals. Conscious debeaking of chickens to prevent the cannibalism they attempt because their kept in such tiny enclosures, and starved before slaughter, living their lives as egg machines, and the pigs getting their tails, tusks, and testes all removed without anesthesia, cows and their constant cycle of rape, abuse, overmilking, and having their children stolen from them and either getting turned into veal or another baby/milk factory. I learned about the water demands, larger than anything else in the world, and even though I live in an area afflicted with drought. I learned about the rainforest destruction, how 97% has been for animal agricultural demands. I learned that it's at least half the problem in regards to climate change, if not more, and the primary cause of ocean acidification, with all the stuff that comes out of their asses going into the air or water. There are deadzones in the ocean, and the whole thing will be a deadzone by 2050, and who knows how badly that'll mess up the whole planet. I learned we grow enough food to feed everybody in the world, enough for about 10 billion people, but it gets filtered through livestock and people starve every day, even in first world nations like the US. I learned indigenous people get forced off their ancestral homes so we can take their land for farming animals as well, in a modern day Trail of Tears. I learned that plants have protein and that 14 out of 15 of the leading causes of death in the US are attributed to consumption of animal products, excluding only accidents. My grandfather may have died of heart disease, and my grandma of a stroke, and my father is diabetic, and I know it would be very easy for me to easily acquire these severe health issues myself if I eat a Standard American Diet, but I like meat, and you guys have a really rude tone, so I think I'll stick with the McDonald's, but not the apple pies, because those are vegan.
Fucking vegans. Can't you see you're preaching a pointless cause? Especially when you're so mean about it
