this wedding is coming up soon and I am so excited for this sweet couple!! I've loved getting to know them & bring their invitation dreams to life. Hosting your reception at a wildflower preserve is going to be amazing and it was so fun to incorporate that into their wedding paper!
Soon I'll be receiving their programs and menus from the printer and I can't wait to see them 🙌🏼💕 even more so I can't wait to see photos from this couples big day!

*not* my work but I am obsessed with this bouquet. This color and texture palette is something of a dream and I am drooling 💖 Spotted this, and a million more of them at Domaine Serene winery yesterday. It is 90 degrees today and it is SO lovely but also deathly hot. Happy Monday!!!!
gearing up for another week of awesome brides!! be sure to head to our website aandbebridalshop.com to book your appointment online with our DNVR, MIAMI, DALLAS, or MPLS shop. || we're open tues. - saturday ||
Dreamy vision by @donnyzavalaphotography - amazing how serene and calm this photo makes me feel- funny thing is this was such a cold, rainy and windy day! I struggled trying to design and keep a giant floral wreath from falling into the ocean for hours with my girl @espefloral. In the end, the ocean won (it always does). #donnyzavalaworkshop .

Alright, before I get back to work for the morning, I feel like it's important to have a little chat. There have been quite a few articles floating around about social media use being linked with depression. And I totally get it- the feelings of inadequacy that come from comparison can be so paralyzing. Being honest, some days I definitely feel less successful when I scroll through my feed, seeing others' success, the opportunities they have, and the (perceived) quick pace at which they are achieving their goals. I turn to thinking, "what are they doing that I'm not doing?" and "if only I could do ___ like so and so does, I would be better off." I KNOW I'm not alone here. By falling into these patterns of thinking, we're robbing ourselves of so much joy. Joy that could come from celebrating victories of our own (which deserve celebration!), as well as joy that can come from being truly happy for others- especially when we recognize that we are all fighting through struggles in the process of reaching our goals. I don't think anyone "has it easy."⠀
Instagram and social media are great for encouraging and cheering each other on, but something needs to change. We have to stop sabotaging ourselves! I'm personally going to simplify- clean up my feed to only see what lifts me up. I'm also taking some time to reevaluate, remember my why, and find what truly motivates me to push toward my own version of success (because let's be real- Instagram is not going to fulfill that need).⠀
I've rambled long enough. I really want this to be a conversation- please share your thoughts! I'd love to hear strategies of how you combat comparison.⠀

First- I'm going to beg @something_borrowed_pdx to let me shop for my home in their warehouse 😍 Second- I'm only ever going to ask @workshop.pdx to take photos of my beautifully furnished home because... just look at this 😍😍 Thanks for the hard work and inspo ladies ❤️
What a blast today working and laughing with @jessicaheron_images in the beautiful home of @portlandaproncompany // Got to style the shots of some incredible and talented ladies such as @racheljacobson and @katihoy ❤️❤️Thank you to everyone who came and hung out with us. Mini's were a success!
The Empress Estate is always so much fun to photograph at. So many little hidden gems on their property. Like this one... the balcony off the bridal suite. Perfect for some before-ceremony portraits of the bride and groom. :) ⠀
Life has been a real learning one lately. And sometimes I think what I do doesn't truly matter. But then I meet women like Jamie... who remind me once again that I'm where I'm supposed to be. ♥️ #alwaysmore xx
I'm back!!!! I've been a little MIA this week thanks to my latest partner in crime The Flu 😷. It's been a rough week to say the least,
But we've turned a corner and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I hope you all had a much much better week! ❤ • • •
