Happy #opportunitywednesday !
#saynotohumpday Today's opportunity may be found in the waiting period to- STOP. ZOOM OUT. REFOCUS
Will you allow the red to be a permanent roadblock?
Will you get frustrated?
Will you choose to turn right and seek a shortcut?
Or will you choose to wait patiently? To trust the process and remember to pause does not mean to be stuck or stop permanently.
It's merely the universe giving you an opportunity to relax a minute and refocus. Then, when you are truly ready...proceed into that bursting light of possibilities ahead!
I wrote this post thinking about all of the times I wanted to rush through a certain process. I could see that vibrant road ahead so clearly, but sometimes I chose to speed ahead way too fast. I didn't take the time to organically allow the process to unfold and occasionally even skipped crucial steps. I may have even missed the lesson or additional insight during the waiting period. In hindsight I guess I turned right...
It's taken enormous work and dedication to trust the process and be patient, but I can honestly say that I rarely (if ever) take that easy
turn anymore. .
Back up at the Lake with the Fam! Looking forward to spending even more time up here in the future all thanks to my girl, Chiara. I'm eternally grateful for her helping me get in on a passive investment that will set me and my family up for generational wealth, and I'd be doing family and friends a disservice if I didn't also share it with you. This opportunity is by Invite Only so feel free to DM me or comment "More Info"
Today marks day 1 on a modified version of the Paleo diet called Auto Immune Paleo. With this you eliminate all dairy ( even eggs 😕 ) and all beans ( no coffee 😭 ) and even all nuts! People have seen drastic changes with their illness with this. It helps to reset your body and eliminate foods that may trigger the inflammation. By doing this and slowly incorporating those things again you will see what your body reacts to! I am excited about this process and continuing to absorb as much information as I can about Hashimotos and my body and what works and doesn't. Listen to your body and take charge! Giving up certain things to me means nothing compared to the outcome. My mission is truly to heal and in the process share with others and hopefully be able to support someone else going through the same thing.
Have you dealt with anger?
I have. It consumes you inside. Perhaps a friend or a loved one
said something they ought not to have, or did something they knew they ought not to do have done. Perhaps it was just a comment and yet it made you teeth clench, or perhaps your mother made you feel like it was her choice to decide. Whatever the action, however small or big if it makes your head fill with quick racing thoughts, and your heart starts beating faster, and it's harder to breathe and you want to scream - then it is most likely anger you are feeling... But let's not focus on the action but the feeling inside. It hurts and tears your thoughts apart, Maybe you pretend like it doesn't affect you, yet your hands are shaking and your voice is breaking. I will not say forget and forgive. Instead try to understand why they did what they did. Come to terms with their actions and feel the despair. Do not feel Embarrassed about the feelings you feel but share them .Then appreciate that the incident has been and gone and focus on the future.. think to yourself that the better times are yet to come. Positivity is simple yet often neglected.
Anger is a feeling we all get and often embrace by mistake because It consumes us so suddenly and immediately that we do not take time to think or breathe. Understand that whatever we do under this emotion will probably not be something we chose to do with a clear head. So why do it now? Why be someone we are not and don't want to be?
I know it's easier said that done. And I myself have found it difficult at times, to control those strange dangerous feelings of anger . But the most important thing is to try because each time we try to flush the thoughts that come with anger and focus on dealing ling with the feeling, rather than reacting to it we help us free our mind .
Do not embrace it and let it hurt you. Try and defeat it, distant yourself from those who have caused it . Give Peace to anger and Relief.
