It's been a while between creative smoothie bowls, because I mostly inhale them on the go these days... not ideal, but life.

I enjoy being on the other side of the group, training rather than instructing. It was a great session with @sheagribben_pt - all the arms! #gunshow
❌ This morning I caught myself saying something I absolutely did not believe, and it had me wondering how much of what I say, is because it's what I feel others will relate to or want to hear.
I commented that I was at the session because I had to be in a bikinis in 5 weeks and that I had I step up my game. Which honestly, is a load of rubbish.
As it came out of my mouth, I knew it was rubbish... and yet, for some reason, in society, I feel there's this expectation of exercise being something we do because we hate our bodies... not because we love them.
I hear it come out of people's mouths over and over again - "I should be doing this" "I need to do that".. rather than, "I love doing this" and "I want to do that"...
So honestly - I wasn't there this morning to be bikini ready...
I train because I love it, because it feels amazing to sweat and move my body, because I'm doing something good for my physical, mental and emotional health and because I get to do it with an awesome team who support each other and seriously take on life. #fitfam 💪

70g (two handfuls) oats
70g (4-5 cut up) strawberries
Half a scoop of whey with some added creatine monohydrate and glutamine ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀

(I never drink protein shakes so I like to mix in my glutamine and creatine with my oats to make sure I get them in each day)
Goji Berry and Beet Salad accompanied with a small dish of curry fermented cabbage. After I eat this, I will have more food 🥘. Coming up I'll be posting my ancient grain egg omelet. I eat at the most three eggs a week. Why throw the yolk, if it is in it where we find all its nutrients? My main course, is this this gigantic salad right here. My homemade vinaigrette is simply: 2 tbp olive oil, 1 tsp brown sugar, 1 teaspoon of mustard, red cayenne pepper, cinnamon and 1 tbp of apple vinaigrette. Try it and you will see your energy soar through the roof, like Popeyes's! Did you know one lb of spinach contains MORE PROTEIN than 1 lb of meat? Yep. So, don't portion your salads, and forget counting calories. Have fun with your salad bowls, test different flavors. Gojj berries add a good tart sweet flavor to the salads!
