Love the absolutely perfect crazing on this pair of vintage mid-century pottery lamps in the form of Thai Buddhist
dancers wearing traditional costumes and in contemplative prayer. There are little holes at the top of their hand to receive silk flowers or other offerings. On wooden bases. Measure 38.5in tall to top of harp, 29in tall to top of socket, 9.25in deep x 7.5in wide. $395 for the pair! DM us for shipping quotes.
Multiple shots of a fabulous vintage Mid-century modern art pottery table lamp with hand painted decoration depicting nude female figures and a deer. Signed on
bottom of base. Double sockets with pull chains and telescoping neck. Measures about 34in to top of finial and 20in to top of vase, approx 6in diameter.
One of my favorite pair of lamps ever... Slab built round lamp, after a han dynasty cocoon jar... Great rustic yet modern timeless lamps... Can you tell I've been finishing rewiring lamps recently? Still have a few more up my sleeves...
Don't you just love this green glaze?! Not too sure on the origins of this pot, but it ended up in our house along the way... Great for a short-stemmed display, like these beautiful camellias I found hiding at the back of our garden today. Perfect combo! #bowlerceramics#ceramicstudio#ceramicsaustralia
Joe's working on a taller lampbase at the moment - two pieces joined together which will be smoothed out next weekend... although when I look at this image now, I quite like the look as is! What do you think? Seamless or not?! (PS So enjoying the workspace at Made in Clay Wangaratta, the most brilliant set up ever thanks to @cathyoddieceramics - check it out if you're interested in classes!). #bowlerceramics#ceramics#ceramicsaustralia
