Wise words from one of the best. This goes back to some things I've said in the past. No one genuinely NEEDS pre workout everyday. If you need someone to yell at you during top sets on every training day, you're probably a weak minded simpleton. If you feel you need this stuff 24/7 then maybe you should look in the mirror and question whether this is truly a passion of yours like you say it is. I get it, stims are awesome. But not only will overuse of them diminish the effectiveness of them on Meet day, they can wreck a training cycle because of an unnecessary accumulation of fatigue from being RPE 10 hyped for an RPE 8 lift all the damn time. Adrenaline can be your biggest weapon, but it can also be your biggest downfall... Front delts are absolutely lit!!!! Body has not been handling the bench frequency well at all which is surprising for me . I usually can do 4-5 days and be okay but not the case these days . Haven't benched since Saturday and I'm still wrecked today.

I finally did it- I finally beat 10-year-old-Madeline, with a two second, twelve year, all-time mile run PR of 8:30😭🙏🏻
The last time I tested my mile was about six months ago, and haven't run for time since then. I also stopped swimming a couple weeks out from my first meet, so I had low expectations for my cardiovascular fitness. I figured I'd be happy just running anything sub-9min after my lift, but I WAS LYING TO MYSELF.
0.20mi: "fuuuuuuck I forgot how long a mile feels"
0.30mi: "maybe I'll just run the half mile"
0.55mi: "officially in bonus territory, ill just go until I'm too uncomfy"
0.70mi: "OHMYGOD I CAN BEAT MY RECORD"
0.90mi: "DONT PLAY YASELF NEVA PLAY YASELF START SPRINTING"
1.0mi: "anotha one. Wait, no. Just the one is good"
Also, I used to get super blotchy all over my face, chest, and arms after running, and that doesn't happen anymore (though I've resigned myself to the redness&sweatiness)! If you suck at something, just keep showing up! Except bear-wrestling, you might just get the one crack at that.
Been dealing with a minor pec and bicep injury so the original plan was to max out on bench for a triple buuuuuuut @drkatie_clare said to take it easy so as to not make things worse. Obviously great advice but man it's boring to bench and "take it easy" 😴

So, as I'm sure you guys guessed, my goal to lose 10lbs (which I've already lost 5 of, gracias water weight) requires me to be in a caloric deficit. And those who know me personally knows I can quickly turn into Queen Hangry 👸 and miss munchies. I LOVE FOOD SO MUCH. Theres tons of tips and tricks on how to curb hunger, but theres one that has killed it compared to any trick I've found and has been a god send everytime I go on a cut. And, it's SO easy. Eat a big, FILLING protein-filled breakfast! No protein shake or protein bar nonsense. I mean a big piping hot bowl of proats with delish toppings (read peanut butter) or a big ol' egg scramble. The possibilities are endless! Can you tell brekkie is my fav?😈😋 Theres actually a fun article that goes a little more in depth about the benefits of a high protein breakfast and how it can satiate hunger throughout the day.
