Today marks day 1 of the beginning of my prep. For clarification purposes, I'm going to refer to it as a pre-prep or a mini-cut, as my diet is not anywhere near as strict as it will be on prep. I plan on doing a 16 week prep beginning in the end of November. I have decided that before I can begin prep (in 5 weeks), I need to lose the extra weight I've put on as a result of not reversing correctly. •
On my last prep, I struggled with my "why". When you are so depleted, at times it becomes hard to remember why you started. I have these bracelets to serve as a little reminder of what is truly important at the end of the day. There are few things I find more joy in than lifting. If I can use my skills and gifts to inspire and teach others, then that is all that matters to me. I have written down my goals and my "why" and I am ready to be back and even better than before. Bring on the Tupperware!

Io ho passato male le ultime 2 settimane di dieta un po’ più stretta 🥞🍗🍚🍳🍅E senza MAI nemmeno togliere un giorno i CARBOIDRATI..stavolta mi è pesato ..avevo 1000 “voglie” ma erano SOLO dovute ai social, alla testa che si era “persa” 🤕Mi è bastato scendere da quel PALCO.. meccanicamente iniziare a SBRANARE biscotti 🍪 torte 🍰 cose inzuppate nel burro di arachidi 🥜 barrette 🍫per nausearmi presto, fermarmi e pensare .. ma sto esagerando perché davvero mi va tutto questo o SOLO perché so che ora posso ?!? Già ... proprio così .. ci concediamo morbosamente ciò che ci era VIETATO 🚫 per le gare quando in realtà ciò che ci fa stare davvero bene è anche.. e soprattutto.. seguire la nostra dieta “pulita” 🍃

**Are we Addicted to sugar**
People like to push the blame onto something in isolation when it comes to weight gain, or lack of fat loss, rather than accepting the sum of what's actually contributing to their situation.
“I know I’m not particularly active, I indulge too much over the weekends and don't pay much enough attention to my Nutrition”
“I’m just addicted to Sugar, it's so bad, I just have cravings for it all day every day, I try to eat well it’s just sugar, OMG, it's just so bad for me”
The truth behind Fat loss is a simply overconsumption of calories, how that comes about may be person dependent, it may be..
-Day to day Food Choices
There are many ways of you falling into consuming too many Calories, likewise, there are many ways of moderating calories.
People often get confused, and blame Sugar in isolation when it comes to weight gain or lack of Fat loss, however rather than demonising Sugar we should look at the types of food consumed that people associate with “Too much sugar”
All these foods contain Sugar AND Fat, AND Salt, AND Flavourings. It’s not simply sugar that is causing us to eat too much.
With these foods being high in the likes of Sugar, Fat, Salt, and Flavourings etc, in turn, makes them very Palatable (Easy to eat a lot of) and therefore cause us to eat too much of them. Too much of them = Too many Calories, and Too many Calories = A Calorie surplus, which =Fat gain.
Look at your overall consumption of what you are eating, and the bulk of what's making it up, if there's a lot of high Sugar/Fat foods in there, there's a high chance you are going to be consuming too many Calories.
Address these first, look into your protein, and micro intake too, and in turn, this should help with managing calorie intake, which will result in a more direct approach of assisting in your fat loss goals.

Damn I love this. Potatoes get such an unnecessary bad reputation even though head to head they might actually be better than sweet potatoes (typically considered more healthy). They are also the single most satiating food on the planet (they make you feel the most full).
