These are the first pair of shorts where I actually feel comfortable in. Most running shorts either ride up, dig in around the legs or just aren’t flattering.
Even have the word TONED on the back which sets them off.
Now that I do 3 sets of HIIT sessions a week these are a life saver 👌
FOOD PREP TIPS ‼️ My lifesavers right now are my Overnight Oats and my pre-workout meal. Food-prepping with a busy schedule is one of the best ways to care of yourself 💪
- You will stay on track with nutrition, never have to have unhealthy ‘grab and go’ meals and be the best well-fuelled and focused you that day 🤨 -TIP 1: Alway prep breakfast! I know it’s a meal you can have at home but it is so good to wake up knowing you have one less thing to worry about. If you don’t like cold things for breakfast mix everything up the night before then at least you just have to whack it all in a pan to heat it up 🍳 -TIP 2: Don’t worry about aesthetics: These overnight oats look like gruel but they taste like heaven ❤️ You’re not presenting the dish to anyone so just make that food you love and leave the aesthetics until dinner 🍵 - TIP 3: Simple, but varied! I always have similar dishes, and they are meals that I love but it is good to change things in them like the type of fruit or nut butter I use in my oats or the Lemon, Balsamic and Tahini dressing I put on my Lentil and Couscous Bowl 🍧
Make just a couple if your meals for the next day, after dinner, and you will be so grateful for your organisation in the future because you set yourself up for success 🏆
So this is my #transformationtuesday which I know was yesterday but didn’t get chance to post. The pic on the left taken 10 weeks ago to the day. With a plan in place by my prep Coach @daveyoung_personaltraining and me sticking to 100%, which was testing over the festive period I’m very happy with my progress. It helps so much when I’ve got the support of good people around me who have been there and done it.

A little leaning out over the last month.
I haven’t been active these past couple weeks mostly because in my other life I’m the CFO for a really awesome company @fixatedesigns and being that we had not only a month end but also a year end, I’ve been stuck knee deep in financials. But being inactive on IG doesn’t mean I haven’t been working toward my own goals.
The progress you see here was only in the last month and included enjoying myself over the holidays and during parties etc. prep doesn’t start for another 8 weeks but that doesn’t mean that I’m not working toward my goals every day.
Progress is seen over weeks, months and years, don’t let the day to day fluctuations and ups and downs discourage you. If you’re putting in the work day in and day out then you’re doing what you need to do. Only you really know if you’re sticking to your plan. Don’t lie to yourself but don’t beat yourself up either. Just do the work.

So I just want to whine a little & be thankful to have an outlet. While I'm certainly blessed to have everything that I do- I'm recently feeling like when it rains, it pours 👎🏽☔️ My car is being very unreliable and it makes me want to pull my hair out👊🏽😩. Im lucky to have parents who guide me, a guy who calms my nerves and the gym where I can let it all out. While prep is mentally demanding, it also creates a routine & a distraction for me. It keeps these crazy life bumps just that-bumps. Life goes on. Prep goes on. It ain’t pretty, but it’s my favorite meal without a doubt. Roasted sweet tato and lean ground beef, I finish the tato in the pan with the beef once it’s partially cooked. I also top it with reduced sugar ketchup. I eat this EVERY SINGLE high carb day.

Perseverance: Steady persistence in a course of action, a purpose, a state, etc... especially in spite of difficulties, obstacles, or discouragement ❤️ I’ve always had a strong will and I’ve always pushed through tough times - and MAN I’ve seen a lot of them. It’s created the woman I am today and it continues to form me into who I will be tomorrow. Be true to yourself, and fight for the person YOU are 👊🏼 Funny... when I got that tattoo 10 years ago - I was prob fighting some battle.
