Hello hello! 🌲Well it’s finally that time of year! ✨@bathchristmasmarket is full steam ahead and it looks set to be bigger and better than ever! 💫Tonight’s Photo of the Day was taken by Penelope @the_flyaway_girl at last night’s preview evening. 🌲We’d love to hear about your plans to visit... both locals and those visiting from further afield. A shout out goes to the person travelling furthest to experience the magic of the markets!😀✨🌲

Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Americans! I hope you’re having a great feast wherever you are in the world. I’m celebrating with family friends in England today, and I’m thankful to be able to gather with people I’ve known since I was born (and have celebrated with since childhood) so far from where I grew up. 🦃
Perfect weather here in Warsaw 🙌🏼🌞
There’s so much to be grateful for.. From the sunshine on your skin, rain on a cloudy day to the changing leaves.. From a stranger’s smile to a hug from someone who means the world to you. To all my wonderful friends and family, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!❤️
Who else is counting down the hours for the sales this weekend? Shop the link in my bio for this jacket! 🙌🏼🙌🏼 Also, London you keep on impressing me! Wearing @brandattic #brandattic grey check blazer 👌🏻
We love Christmas shopping, but we're not so keen on the wrapping part. Every year as we sit surrounded by gifts, we frantically look around for someone to pay to do it for us, usually to no avail. This year however, we're in luck! The lovely folk at @combegrovebath are offering a gift wrapping service, in aid of @julianhouseuk 🎁 Pop along with gifts you want wrapped & they'll do it beautifully for you with bright tissue paper & natural decorations.

The sun stayed out almost all day today and I have managed to remain injury free with no oddballs or weird breakages so although I’m bloody tired (up since 5.30am) I’m calling today a win!
This is Market Street, just round the corner from where I work now, it’s also where I first worked when I moved to Oxford about 15 years ago. I moved here to become an assistant manager at a pub that was then called Bar Oz, it was a live in role so for the first three years of my time in Oxford I lived right here in the city centre!
Nowadays the pub is a Wagamama restaurant but whilst I was there it became the Market Tavern and we used to run music nights (including the annual Oxford Punt), open mic nights and show all the football... on Sundays we used to have a Spanish crowd in for the Spanish games!
To the right of the photo is Exeter College, Oxford’s 4th oldest college, founded in 1314, originally as a school to educate clergymen. Both Tolkien & Philip Pullman ate Exeter alumni!
I’m currently rereading Phillip Pullman’s Northern Lights, have you read it?
Thankful for the experiences, people and opportunities that I've come across this year. Lately, I'm trying to practice a life of gratitude because it's so easy to focus on what you don't have. The moment that you realize that you have everything you need + more, you feel free, liberated and fulfilled. Each morning I write down three things I'm grateful for and immediately, I start my day on a positive light - try it (and stay clear of checking your phone). Tag someone you're grateful for ✨
With you, me, and views like these, what more could a girl need? 🙌🏻✨ Feeling very thankful today for such beautiful surroundings, and all of the amazing people/pups in my life, especially these two. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving.
First time I came to Baleal in a cloudy day. Ocean didn't sparkle with sun rays, there was quite strong wind and fog. Most of houses were closed. I could easily imagine spending days here. Waking up early in the morning in the cold open to wind house, drinking hot coffee cocooning inside big blanket and staring at the ocean.. I easily imagined spending days there, but I had to go away.
Life is really busy. Especially with teenagers and a husband who has a hectic travel schedule. There are so many things to be grateful for but you certainly can’t beat quality time with your tribe. Side note: they tolerate picture time as happily as my, not pictured, husband.
Happy Thanksgiving friends.
Although I live in Paris where Thanksgiving is just another moody November day, I still paused to be thankful for the good fortune, friends and fabulous slow travel moments I’ve enjoyed in the past year. Thank you all who have been a part of it.
