Let's talk about OFFSEASON goals 🏋🍕💃 Well if you have followed my fitness journey from the start, you know that I have never successfully reverse dieted. After every season I gained a lot of weight, most of it being fat not muscle. There's something that just triggered in my brain every time and the lack of willpower and discipline always crept in. I didn't have a show or an end goal to prepare for so what was the point, right? I preached that I found "balance" but lol k really I just ate like an asshole and left my house more. It was one extreme on prep and the opposite extreme in offseason - I wouldn't quite call that "balance." This time around is different. While I know I wont be 110% absolutely perfect every single day, I can learn to accept that rather than pretend I will be. I had a nice, long dialogue with my coach regarding goals and expectations.
First and foremost, I will not be disclosing any numbers for my goals listed below as I feel it is irrelevant to this post AND very specific and tailored towards my personal goals and how my body best operates. Here are the goals/expectations my coach and I are measuring as a means of progress this offseason: ✔1. MACROS - We discussed the obvious which are where my macros are starting at for the first week of offseason and where I would like to see them be at by specific dates. ✔2. WEIGHT - We determined what a healthy weight gain would be for me. I felt amazing both physically and mentally at my wedding weight a dew months back so that currently is where I'd like to get back up to. The key will be a steady and consistent gain over the course of several weeks - not too fast and not slow. The goal is to maximize muscle gains and gain a small amount of fat back on my body but nothing like how I have in the past. ✔3. PERFORMANCE - One really important way to track progress that many don't realize is to track your performance! I told my coach where I would love to see my offseason PRs get to for the big three. I have high expectations but nothing unrealistic. ⚠CONTINUED IN COMMENTS BELOW⚠

Homemade Jumbo soft pretzels😍👆🏻🤤
Homemade breads are imo a lot more filling and satisfying than store bought. Also quite a fun process😄 (kneeded this dough for 10 minutes😅😅). And pretzels are just the best👌🏻😍 🇩🇪 -
Macros per pretzel (these are quite big)

3 years in USA, and this country still doesn't cease to amaze me. This a college game, you guys? College? 92 000 seats all sold out for a college game? I still can't comprehend it! This was my first ever American football game - University of Texas vs Oklahoma University.
I had no idea their rivalry is such a big thing until fans of UT started chanting: Texas fight, OU sucks! Apparently, they scream it even at other games, that do not involve OU at all, which I found mean, but also hilarious. I am sorry if you are reading this and you are from Oklahoma!
UT lost, but the game was so much fun. I got a pretzel during half time, and it was meh at best, but pretty photogenic. Are you a fan of college football? And what’s your favorite thing to snack on at the game?
