Yassss!!! One month on Keto 🔥. Down 15.4lbs.  It is challenging to diet/exercise with a newborn but I kept my weekly goals simple and was able to achieve them.  I had 1 unplanned cheat day this month.  My next cheat days will be on Thanksgiving and the day after for leftovers 🤤. .

I met my goals this week of daily intermittent fasting (16hrs), running 3 times this week (at least 20 mins) and keeping carbs under 30gm. .
. 😪 Finding time to run 3 times a week was difficult.  I ran last night at 9pm to meet my goal 😐. The 3rd run left me exhausted and my milk supply dipped. .

O jantar de hoje foi pra dois e mostrei nas stories o meu prato, mas o do meu namorado (que é Paleo quando eu cozinho pra ele 😉) teve uma nova receita que ele amou: cenoura salteada com pesto. Usei uma cenoura cortada em tiras e cozinhei por 5 minutos na ghee em fogo médio. Desliguei o fogo e adicionei o pesto com a frigideira ainda quente. Para acompanhar, rosbife de mignon, um pouco da abóbora de forno e uma batata recheada com muçarela finalizada com salsa fresca e pimenta preta 😍

Bolo Fudge

6 ovos
2 barras de chocolate 50% ou 70%
1/4 de açucar ou adoçante ( nao tenho quantidade, experimento)
3 col de açucar de coco
200 gr de manteiga sem sal
1/4 de cacau em pó 100%

Derreter a manteiga em Banho Maria, após acrescentar as barras e mexer até derrete-las. Depois desse processo, colocar 4 gemas e RESERVAR ESSAS CLARAS. Misturar as gemas e juntar a essa "massa 2 ovos inteiros", mexer bem e adicionar o cacau e as 3 col de açucar de coco.
Reserve.

Batar as claras em neve com o açucar ou adoçante até ficar firme.

Adicionar a mistura de chocolate delicadamente até incorporar bem.

Untar uma forma redonda de 21 ou 22 cm com manteiga e cacau em pó

Levar ao forno entre 40 a 50 min

Chantilly (que congelei)

3 claras batidas com adoçante (usei xilitol), apos firmes acrescentar creme de leite, quantidade a seu gosto.

1 col de sopa de farinha de coco
1 col de sobremesa de cacau em pó 100%
1 col de sobremesa de açucar de coco
3 col de sopa agua ou leite de coco
1 col de chá de fermento em pó
1 col de sopa de oleo de coco

Misturar tudo.

Untar frigideira. Fazer em fogo baixo.

FINALLY found some sweet potatoes at our farmers market recently and I definitely cried on the inside a little when I saw them because of how small and misshapen they are compared to what we get at the grocery store 🍠 😭😭 switching to buying almost everything from the farmers market has been a huge adjustment as far as produce shopping goes. We now buy with the seasons so if it isn't at the farmers market we don't get it 🤷‍♀️The only exception for the most part to our farmers market only shopping has been sweet potatoes but now that we have seen the huge size difference it's going to be hard getting the store potatoes 😩

Nesse domingo com jeito de sexta-feira, o meu pós-treino de cardio foi esse potinho com 3 ovos mexidos com crosta de parmesão. Dessa vez, adicionei uma colher de chá de cúrcuma e pimetas rosa e preta logo depois do queijo e tampei a frigideira (mantendo o fogo baixo). Assim que o queijo derreteu, mexi os ovos novamente e tampei a frigideira por mais um minuto, até formar a crosta de parmesão. Finalizei com salsa fresca💪

Grooming day for the girls. Not a whole lot of hair since I’ve been brushing them for the past week. They get a delicious Raw Beef Neck Bone for being good girls. 
It’s a longer process. Misty has medicated wipes because she used to have hardcore dirt rashes and dried up blood from fleas. But she hasn’t really had that problem ever since I’ve been feeding her Raw. Actually, a lot of their ailments have been practically gone ever since the raw diet and natural replacements for skin care.

Shiva (Black Pitmix) would patiently wait her turn and then quickly sit right in between my legs once I’m done with Misty so she could have her turn grooming.

A cold and rainy day here in Pittsburgh can only call for one thing , low carb Apple Cider Donut bites with chocolate dipping sauce!. The amazing folks at @cocopolosuperfood sent me chocolate to try out and it is seriously the best Ive had! The one I used here was their 39% Cocoa brand. It is sweet, creamy, chocolatey  and you cannot even tell it's low carb! It also melts down very easily like regular chocolate. And before you say Apple's aren't really low carb, I know 😊 I only used 1/4 cup apple cider, less than 1 net carb/ bite.

🍩Apple Cider Doughnut Bites
½ Cup Coconut Flour
¼ Cup Swerve
1 Tsp Baking Powder
¼ Tsp Salt
Dash of Cinnamon, Nutmeg and Clove
4 Eggs
¼ Coconut Oil, Melted
½ Tsp Vanilla
¼ Cup Apple Cider
¼ Cup Almond Milk, unsweetened

About 1 cup Oil of Choice, for frying
.
Cinnamon Sugar:
¼ Cup Granulated Erythritol
1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
.
🍫Chocolate Sauce- optional (will add a total of 5 Net Carbs to recipe)
40g 39% @cocopolosuperfood Chocolate Nibs, melted
.
Directions:
1. Combine the flour, erythritol, baking powder, salt and spices.
2. In a separate bowl, combine the eggs, melted oil, vanilla, cider and milk.
3. Preheat the oven to 325.
4. Combine the wet and dry mixtures and let set until the oven heats up.
5. In a mini muffin pan, fill the holes with about 2 tablespoons of mixture. The batter will be thick.
6. Bake for 15 minutes.
7. Meanwhile, heat oil of choice in a heavy bottomed pot to 350 degrees.
8. Remove the donuts from the tin and fry them for 2-3 minutes. Careful not to let them burn.
9. Carefully remove them from oil, and place on paper towel.
10. Mix the cinnamon and Erythritol in a paper bag (or large bowl). Drop the donuts in the bag and shake until covered.
11. Dip into melted chocolate and enjoy !

Boa tarde a todos! Mostrei nas stories uma receita nova que ficou sensacional: abóbora de forno! Usei meia abóbora moranga da roça partida em meia-lua e comecei cozinhando os pedaços no microondas por 2:30s minutos pausando a cada 30s (usando a técnica do papel toalha levemente molhado). Depois, untei uma assadeira com azeite e temperei os pedaços com sal, pimentas rosa e preta e sálvia desidratada. Deixei cozinhar no forno pré-aquecido a 200ºC por 25 minutos e depois por mais 10 minutos na função grill. Para acompanhar, fiz cogumelos portobello refogados na ghee com pimentão vermelho finalizados com creme de leite e um pouco do rosbife de ontem. Dessa vez, coloquei o queijo, pimenta e salsinha logo depois que as claras firmaram e dobrei ao meio, tampando a panela novamente. Esperei um minuto e dobrei pela segunda vez, até dourar as bordas. #SITIAP 11/17/17

S@#$ I Threw In A Pan is the last one for awhile... Tonight it's a whole fish night with shirataki noodles, Swiss chard, Kelp, sesame seeds, and of course the avocado!​ Now I'm NOT going bye bye forever, but work has entered what we call "Peak Season"​ That's when we ramp up our efforts to make sure everyone has an awesome holiday season by getting their gifts in a timely fashion!​ Super excited to have a helping hand in some many peoples holiday celebration's!​ What does all this mean? ​

It means that next week I'll be doing overtime hours! One week that will be 50, and untill the end of the year it will be 55 hour weeks. ​

Sadly I won't have enough time in the day to give daily SITIAP posts, workout posts, recipe posts, and BJJ posts. ​

This really bums me because I love sharing my food and BJJ adventures!​ I'll still keep up with my gratitude journal on Instagram, but till the first of the year the SpiderMonkey is in full on grind mode!​ I can't wait to share with you guys soon!!!​ Don't forget to hit like and share guys!

Got a sweet tooth? The nutrient-packed Paleo Candy Bars will satisfy your cravings 😍
Ingredients
* 3 tablespoon(s) coconut oil
* 1/4 cup(s) carob powder or cocoa powder (optional)
* 1/2 cup(s) nuts of choice ground (almonds, hazelnuts)
* 3/4 cup(s) coconut, unsweetened shredded
* 1 tablespoon(s) honey, raw (optional, add more to taste)
* 1 package(s) parchment paper
Instructions
1. Melt the honey and coconut oil in a saucepan over low heat. Take off heat as soon as coconut oil is totally melted.
2. Once combined and off heat, add the carob (or cocoa), ground nuts, and coconut and mix together.
3. Pour mixture onto a small baking sheet covered in parchment paper. Form into a square (or shape of your choice) when cool enough to touch.
4. Freeze or refrigerate until hardened. Cut into 4 servings.
