Day 325. Portrait of Sofia.
Last year I met miss Sofia Silva. I was doing a big national photographic campaign and she was one of the actresses starring. In that campaign she left us all amazed, a talent and professionalism seldom seen, and life and work codes that made me become her fan instantly.
Sofi is an actress, even though she's shy about saying it, she has more experience than a lot of older people. At 21 she's already done a lot of national campaigns, for all sorts of clients, been in movies, series, theater and even part of the Mendocinian improvisation league.
A drive to grow and personal clarity that motivates me to think there's a generation of Mendocinian actors coming that will give us plenty to talk about.
A tremendous attitude, wise humility, unique beauty and beautiful personality. One of the most versatile actresses in Mendoza, with a huge future. It was time to have her in this project. It's wonderful to work with professional actors.
Behind the scenes, with Bay Areas own @stephencurry30 In this moment he currently has his game face on because he's listening to me give direction, but he's genuinely nice and great in front of the camera. One of the nicest & humblest athletes I've been around. I told him that prior to this year, I had never photographed any NBA players, but I was thrilled that in the past few months, I was able to photograph some of best, and that now, I could say that includes him. This comment seemed to catch him off guard. His eyebrows went up, he opened his eyes wider, he directed all his attention to me. Looked me straight in the eyes and said "oh wow!! thank you. I appreciate that", which he didn't even have to say. Judging by his reaction alone I could tell what I said had meaning to him. All his success is overshadowed by his sincerity.
Everyone on this set was amazing and I'm beyond thankful I got to be part of it. This was day 2 and the 2nd time I got do portraits of him on this project. He dropped some serious knowledge on his @masterclass Be sure to check it out if you're interested in improving your game. His performance on the court speaks for itself. His humility as a person is second to none. Steph, much respect and it was an honor to have you grace the front of my lens & lights 🙏🏼 Thanks so much @cbizzo for the BTS photo
I miss the sun. Throwback from the summer with @karrah.love in Chinatown. Taken with a 27” Elinchrom deep octa as a key, powered by a Profoto B1, and a second bare B1 with a full CTO as a rim light to simulate a sunset that will never reach this alley without a little help 😉
