Morning status - after 9 days of 25-100g carbs a day + 2 sessions of cardio = flat, depleted, tired & fucking hungry. 179.6 lbs upon waking = NEW LOW. Today I will eat 700g Carbs (will share on my story)! !
Wall #1 of our tiny home is up! Each step we take in the building process is always exciting as we can see our design coming more and more together. This is our back wall, which will have only one window- in the bathroom. Can’t wait to share more as we move along!
I got Mark, my husband, to take some pictures last night because I was wearing practically the same outfit I had on in April when I started the portion fix plan. I can't believe the change! Even with over 2 months in the middle where I didn't exercise or follow the plan properly I am amazed by the progress I've made.
Little changes every day/week/month have added up. I started by evaluating my nutrition and decided that a diet of biscuits and coffee just weren't good enough. I added in healthier foods and cut down on the treats. Measuring my portions properly (and easily) and adding in daily exercise. This is definitely not a quick fix diet, this is my new lifestyle and I'm continuing to make progress in my journey every day. I'm happier and stronger than I have been in a long time and I'm making time for ME every day, something I haven't done in a few years. If you are interested in starting your own journey and would like to chat about where to start comment below or message me.
It won’t always be easy. There will be days you want to cry. There will be days you want to give up. There will be days you quit a move early. But then, there will be days like this that surprise you. 😲 A day where you realize just how far you’ve come, how much progress you’ve made from day 1, when you were a tired mommy with a mama pouch. 😴
Fight through those hard days, those days you want to quit and give up. It is so beyond worth it. The progress, the positive change, that’s what keeps me going. 💥
I know it’s not easy, but it’s so worth it. You’re worth it. Join me and let’s cheer each other on!? 👯👯
Life & Happiness?
It's all about the climb.
It's all about understanding that no matter how bad you think you have it, someone has it worse.
No matter where you are in life, it's just a stepping stone forward.
Stop and appreciate how far you have come since you were born, and you will see how far you've come.
It's all progress, it's all positivity 🚀
Growing up I've never really been a big fan of winter. (It's cold outside, the snows inconvenient as hell, and you can't skateboard.) But for some reason this time around I find myself super excited that winters on its way.
Not sure if it's the winter portrait sessions, the snow covered forests or that it's my first snowboarding season, but I'm definitely ready for some more snow ❄️🏂
