Hello beautiful people! We are so happy to announce the launch of our Etsy shop, Hopefully Crafty (HC). •link in bio• We were inspired to launch HC to share our story in support of others struggling with mental illness. We are excited to start this journey. Our hope is that we can contribute to something much bigger than us; we hope to create a network of people who are simply there for each other. Mental illness is strong, but we are stronger. Let’s join together to help each other live hopeful and happy lives.
Love and healing,
Steph & Bianca
The book finally arrived and I’m just so thankful. There are so many stories of people being brave and open about mental illness. It shows me that there is hope and that I’m not alone.
I know it can be scary when you have a mental illness. Especially when you feel the need to hide it from your family. However freedom is on the other side of letting go and being honest with those that love you. It’s a journey we take together, even if it means for the rest of our lives.
I hope everyone that reads this book is inspired to take care of themselves and the ones they love. We have a #mentalillness , #mentalillness doesn’t have us❤️❤️❤️ PS: My story is the first story in the book. How weird/cool is that😊
Yesterday, I asked for recommendations for books on self-love and compassion (thanks to all who commented) ❤️
There were so many great suggestions and I figured everyone could use some extra love in their lives, so I wanted to share the list with you. .
So here you go - my top 15 books for self-love, written by women for women and can all be found on Audible, as well as any bookstore. They all got amazing reviews and many said that each and every single one of these books was life changing! 📚
Anyone interested in a book club? I’m starting out with “The Goddess Revolution” by Mel Wells 🦄🌞 let me know if you want to join me!

When you are lost, anxious, fearful, when you fucked it up and you KNOW you've lost something precious, important, necessary. When the whole world spirals down into a dark whirlpool, and you think you're too tired to swim any more. When you feel all alone in the universe.
Close your eyes.
FIND YOUR CENTER
Maybe it is pictures from home, or prayers, or a particular song.
Your dog, or cat, or that rabbit you just got.
That last day you could think clearly; or that one perfect day that may never come, when everything is good again.
The best memory of your life, or just that day in Hungry Hunter.
The best friend and brother who died; or the uncle you never met, but somehow still know; or that perfect woman, as flawed as you are, who will never let you go; or that one true friend who is always there for you.
Finally looking into your child's eyes for the first time, or into your father's for the last.
Whatever grounds you, calms the chaos in your mind. Whatever gives you HOPE or FAITH or the WILL to keep moving, floating, hanging on, even if only by your fingernails.
One. More. Day.
If you don't already, go follow these great organizations who are helping out veterans:
Every time you try and fail,
Every time your hope gets stuck in the deeps,
And you wonder just how you'd get through the sail-
Don't forget that underneath your pain,
Is an anchor of great strength and fortitude
Keep digging until you find it...
And when you do,

"One year ago today, I tried to end my life here on earth. I felt hopeless, worthless, and useless. I am a victim of abuse, mental illness, and suicidal thoughts- and I thought that's all I was. Now at this time this year- I am a SURVIVOR. My what used to be wounds, are now battle scars. On this day, I celebrate my life and all the people in it. The treatments I've been through, hospital stays, therapists, doctors, friends, family, and teachers, have all helped me to reach the healthy point that I am today. My life is special. I am beautiful and strong. I am so proud of myself for making it this far. Suicide is never the answer. Ask for help. You are loved. Here's to another year of living, Angela Joy. ❤️;🎗#projectsemicolon#takebackcrazy "
And kid, you’ve got to love yourself. You’ve got to wake up at four in the morning, make coffee, and stare at the birds drowning in the darkness of the dawn. You’ve got to sit next to the man at the bus who’s reading your favorite book and start a conversation. You’ve got to come home after a bad day and burn your skin from a shower. Then you’ve got to wash all your sheets until they smell of lemon detergent you bought at the local grocery store. You’ve got to stop taking everything so personally. You are not the moon kissing the black sky. You’ve got to compliment someone's crooked brows at an art fair and tell them that their eyes remind you of someone. You’ve got to stop letting yourself get upset about things that won’t even matter in five years. Sleep in on Saturday mornings and wake yourself up early on Sunday. You’ve got to stop worrying about what you’re going to tell them when they find out. You’ve got to stop over thinking why they stopped caring about you over three years ago. You’ve got to stop asking everyone for their opinions. Love yourself, kiddo. You’ve got to love yourself. #KeepGoing ; #semicolon#projectsemicolon#mentalhealth#awareness#depression#anxiety#love
I know that reading my posts about this topic may be difficult for some. Personally, they’re never easy to write. But, if my speaking about suicide helps a single person, that’s worth the world to me. If anyone is considering self harm, please get help. If you feel you don’t have anyone to talk to, my ears and heart are always open. Suicide is preventable, and there are people eager to help you. National Suicide Prevention Lifeline - 1.800.273.8255
We hope you are having a great week. Stay strong and find the courage you need to grow.
"For what it’s worth: it’s never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There’s no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you’re proud of. If you find that you’re not, I hope you have the courage to start all over again." - Eric Roth
After over a year of debating with myself, I finally went for it and got my first tattoo. I wanted to get something that would remind me of how much I've been through, and to encourage me to keep going, even when I desperately want to give up. My arms are covered in self - harm scars, so I wanted a permanent mark with a better message. #projectsemicolon#mentalhealth#firsttattoo
