This may or may not be a replica National Archaeology Magazine by @magnoliclothiers. I spoke to him the other month after getting this very cheaply on eBay. It was not advertised as a Magnoli replica, but his is the only one I was aware of, and indeed it features a picture of his wife inside as Sophia Hapgood. Once I had it in hand, however, I was suspicious. The printing quality is poor, the images cut off along the edge, the paper is very lightweight, and of course the title on the front is wrong.
Best that Anthony could tell me was it may be an early prototype, but after all these years he really couldn't remember. It is definitely not, however, the final print run that he did of these.
At worst, it was an inexpensive recast. Regardless a neat piece to own. I especially like the little touches like Hal Barwood being listed as a contributing author, and the Herbert Johnson ad on the back.
On to other matters, yes I've definitely been slowing down and have been finding it difficult to pick back up. Presently I have had to suspend all collecting to attend to some bills, most recent my cat who has been ill. This hobby, though I love it, cannot always be my priority.
All the same, I have been working on a project to share with you all that should be ready hopefully within the next month. :)

Palace Arcade t-shirts now in the shop! etsy.com/shop/designedbymonkeys #strangerthings#season2#palacearcade
Are you loving the new season of Stranger Things as much as I am? Well as soon as I saw this tee in the first episode of season two, I knew I needed one for myself. Worn by the staff at the Palace Arcade, where the boys first see "MADMAX" on the high score board.
To ensure 100% screen accuracy, I took my own screen shots and carefully studied the curves and imperfections of the letters, to perfectly reproduce the hand drawn feel of the original. I also studied the shots of Keith (the arcade worker) frame by frame, for the proper width to height ratio and the shapes of the PALACE letters. None of this is a font -- all the original shapes were hand drawn, and I've done my best to make it completely faithful.
Based on the screen accurate design, but tweaked a little: I added "HAWKINS, IN" in the Stranger Things title font, lightened up the "PALACE", and added a blackish "underprint" so that it works on lighter colored shirts.
OPTION: You can either get this design as clean and new looking, or the "DISTRESSED" option, where I've texturized the design so that it looks like an ancient iron-on shirt from the early 80s that you just dug out of a thrift store bin.
Available in XS through 2X sizes!
