Lets talk about [ #TheVanillaBeanBakingBook ], now just a little side note ( I love everything banana, I go where the bananas go whenever I see a banana recipe , i Jut have to try it out.) that being said, i found a banana pecan cake recipe in Sara’s book after Zoe’s recommendation. And no doubt I tried it out.
After a while those mouthwatering cookies started appearing in my instagram time-line , I just looked at it and wondered how are these lines and crispy parts are created? So I went back to her book and Voila ! Found the recipe.
Its simple and just like another cookie recipe. The only difference is baking mechanism, the trick is every two minutes I lift the baking tray in the oven and bang it towards the rack of the oven to makes these lines. It took exactly 16 minutes and the result is a large cookie with crinkled sides each cookie is around 100 grams.
Its crispy from the outside and chewy and gooey from the inside. I think you can now image how tasteful it was.
As i always do I double the ingredients bake half of it the other half i store it in the freezer. The recipe is a must. The only change I will do is make the cookie 70grams and not 100g to get smaller more reasonable sized cookie.
