What are these you ask...well I couldnt find my little donut maker so I placed them into muffins tins... But they are vanilla "slimbits" super yummy... see even we can have donuts too!!! Minus the sugar and white flour... Not even 5 mins to whip up and 5 mins in the oven thats it...super easy doesnt take alot of time... I will need to make more as they wont last long....

Bohnenkuchen 2.0: ich hab es  für einmal mit Edamame-Bohnen versucht!!! Das Resultat ist so ziemlich dasselbe, wie mit weissen Bohnen; und natürlich auch die Tatsache, dass man den Teig etwas übersüssen muss, um den Bohnen-Geschmack im fertigen Gebäck zu übertönen. Hier gibt es nun also meine süchtig machenden WhiteChocolate-Coconut-Blondies mit Creamcheese-Füllung...:

1 kl Dose (ca125g) Edamame-Bohnen von @migros mit Proteindrink Vanille von @sponser.sportfood und Quark pürieren, dann mit WhiteChocolate-Proteinpulver von @allstarssportsnutrition , Biosüsse von @alnatura.ch , Flavor Drops White Chocolate von @nutriful vermischen und ein steifes Eiklar unterheben. Gut abschmecken und 2/3 des Teiges in eine Form giessen. Darauf kommt eine Schicht aus Frischkäse, Quark, Kokos-Whey von @allstarssportsnutrition , Biosüsse und einem Schluck Wasser und den Abschluss bildet der Rest des Edamame-Teiges. Jetzt geht’s auch schon in den Ofen - etwas länger, als bei anderen Kuchen derselben Grösse, damit er sich auch gut aus der Form lösen lässt und zerfällt. Mjum! Die Kombi weisse Schoki-Kokos ist ja immer ein Hit; aber hier kommt wirklich jeder Süssschnabel auf seine Rechnung!!! 😭I felt so freaking duped by them- I. LOVED. THEM. Like regardless of nutritional content I would rather have one over a burger🍔. It wasn't a "all she does is eat salads she's trying to lose weight" it was "all she does is eat salads she's obsessed with them"🤩.

🤬The salad dressing and toppings crushed my soul. The fact that I could have a burger and fries🍔🍟 for less than the cost of a salad destroyed me. Dramatic much? Totally 🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏼‍♀️.

🚘We went to Chick🐤 today and I didn't want stupid grilled nuggets. I didn't want a stupid cool wrap. I didn't want a stupid grilled chicken sandwich. I wanted this salad WITH the apple cider vinaigrette not the FF honey mustard. SO. I just decided to get it. And whaddya know without all the bells and whistles, it was painless😅.

Ich hab dafür Kokosmehl, Dinkelmehl , Biosüsse (alles von @alnatura ) und Kokoswhey von @allstarssportsnutrition mit etwas Backpulver in eine Schüssel gegeben und (mit meinem neuen @solis_switzerland -Blender) pürierten Kürbis, Quark, wenig Sprudel, Flavor Drops Kokos von @nutriful dazugerührt. Dann nur noch steifes Eiklar und klein geschnittene Erdbeer-Stückchen darunterziehen und schon geht’s ab in den Ofen! Himmmmmmmmlisch, was dort wieder rauskommt... durch das Kokosmehl wunderbar feucht und dank dem Eiklar gleichzeitig herrlich fluffig. Der leichte Kürbis-Geschmack harmoniert perfekt mit dem vollmundigen Kokos-Aroma und den süssen Erdbeeren... oooh wie ich mich auf die (Erd)-Beeren-Saison freue...

I acquired this bar from a friend at the gym who got some for Christmas but doesn't like nuts (somehow we're friends despite this!). Given I'd not tried them before I thought I'd pop up a quick review.

First impression was good, a good looking bar with plenty of personality with bumps which I was very much hoping would turn out to be big chunks of nut! It was a little bashed up but that's nothing to do with the bar, it took a bit of a battering in two gym bags so no points deducted for aesthetics!

I always break the bar in two to check for the goo factor when something promises toffee & this didn't disappoint! As you can see from the picture a nice obvious layer. The centre was less bendy & had more of a break than I was expecting.
.
As for the flavour it's pleasantly sweet with a nice thick chocolate layer, there are chunks of almond which are great, but the centre is a little on the dry side for me. This might be because the bar is a bit old! It has an expiry date of March 2018 so could be coming to the end of its life. This was also reflected in the after taste which was a little dusty but not unpleasant.

Overall I enjoyed this bar, it's got some nice features & I think it would be much improved had it been fresh! Overall score 7/10

Quest was kind enough to send me 3 boxes of their BRAND SPANKIN NEW Protein Cookies😍😍. Since Lenny & Larry’s cookies have gluten in them, I was super stoked to give these a try! Macros are better than L&L in my opinion: around 240calories 16f/18c/15p for a FULL cookie🙌 they come in 4 flavors: Choc. Chip, Chocolate Chunk, Oatmeal Raisin, and Peanut Butter, contain 9-10g of fiber per cookie, and have no gluten containing ingredients! ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖
My two cents? Although a bit high on the fat side, they exceeded my expectations and were much better than your average protein bar 👍🏻. The peanut butter had the most realistic cookie taste (I’m rating it a 9/10), the chocolate chip was an 8/10, and chocolate chunk a 7/10 (the flavor wasn’t as sweet as the others). So yeah fit kids, I’m a fan and would definitely recommend them as a convenient protein snack or good way to satisfy your sweet tooth! -

It's a language all its own, reading their WOD (workout of the day) was straight Chinese (no I don't speak it- white girl in Asian body over here 👩🏼➡️ 🙋🏻‍♀️). 🍀Luckily I had the list the night before and admittedly Youtubed it all to see what they looked like before I went. Yeah that didn't help with my nerves 😲, don't do that.

💑👨‍❤️‍👨👩‍❤️‍👩 SO MUCH LOVE No wonder why people live for their CrossFit fam, they're super, super friendly! I don't know what supplement it is- but I want it- everyone came up and said Hi. No egos in this gym and I didn't feel embarrassed even once 😆.

🤼‍♀️🤼‍♂️COMPETITIVE, BUT COMPLIMENTARY. Yes for sure there's a don't tap out vibe but you want that in a place you workout. The only one that benefits from how hard you push yourself is you, so why not have people totally rooting for you while you row your heart out 🚣🏻‍♀️👋♥️?

❔How hard was it? It was hard. But really good. I could barely wash my hair after.

❔What about all those injuries you hear about? Like anything, if you don't learn the proper technique, how to use the equipment, try and rush a move, or don't ask for help you're fully going to hurt yourself. Be smart 🤓 when you workout. Always.

❔What if I'm not strong enough? They are happy to modify any move and help you! And if you wanna get strong this is definitely the arena to do it in🏋🏻‍♀️🏋🏼‍♀️.

💰A PRETTY PENNY BUT WORTH IT Like other boutique gyms, they're $$$ a month to join. But unlike my local LA Fitness, all the equipment is brand new and state of the art plus the vibe is that of a personal trainer so it's probably worth the investment if you really get your butt in there.

TLDR would I do it again? Totally🤗

While I am not a big drinker myself, I do enjoy an occasional glass of wine and with the New Year hours away, It's time for a little alcohol talk...

It's not considered necessary for human life but it is it's own source of calories! 7 calories per gram to be exact…And to account for the calories that alcohol costs you must deduct from your carb or fat grams.

😑 Let’s just say my post Holiday mood was raging this morning. The house looked like ALLLL the reindeer 🦌 were up in here. I started cleaning after making my snappy (albeit witty🤓 remarks) to my kids but then heard these two punks and knew they were RIGHT!

So I let wrapping paper ⛰️ mountain exist while I told everyone to leave me alone for ☝️hour so I could get the first real workout I’ve had in days. By the time I was finished I was actually looking forward ➡️ to all the tasks ahead {swipe and see what I did this morning, by the time you’re on the last 3️⃣ rounds cleaning out the downstairs shoe 👟 closet sounds like perfection😨}

💪 I did @emfitchallenge The 12 Days of Christmas🌲took about 45 minutes but you can totally tweak it into a few rounds of HIIT if you don’t have that much time. Don’t take out the wall walk though, I’d never done that before and it was serious fun🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏼‍♀️.

OH. MY. GOD. #GAMECHANGER. So we all love making our protein ice cream. Right?  Love you some Halo Top?  Well this is the ultimate game changer right here!  My daughter got an ice cream maker for Christmas and i thought i would put it to use tonight. So i kind of followed the directions with the machine but subbed all of the prep friendly ingredients! 
PROTEIN MEXICAN ICE CREAM 🍦 
In a saucepan slowly cooked-
1/2 c cashew milk
1/4 c water
2 scoops @nutrakey choc lava whey
3 packets stevia
Pinch of salt
Cayenne pepper
Cinnamon
Teaspoon cayenne pepper

In a bowl whisked 
2 packets stevia 
4 egg whites

Mixed the egg whites slowly into the warm mixture. 
Refrigerated for 2 hours 
Ice cream maker for 20 minutes. 
Holy sheettttt. 
It’s back in the freezer because i want to be able to scoop it but you can eat it fresh out of the ice cream maker!!! This is to die for. I will be making all sorts of new creations!!! Stay tuned!

Driving (or getting the bus😏) home for Christmas and snacking on some of my homemade cinnamon and maca oat balls 🤗
These are super easy to make 👇🏻
🔸100g oats
🔸1 tbsp chia seeds
🔸1 tbsp flax seed
🔸1 tbsp maca powder
🔸1 tsp cinnamon
🔸40g raisins
🔸2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
🔸50g honey or agave
🔸50g peanut butter

🥄Mix together the dry ingredients and set aside
🥄Combine the honey, peanut butter and coconut oil and melt in the microwave for 30-45 secs until it stirs together easily
🥄Stir the peanut butter mixture into the oats and mix well

Driving (or getting the bus😏) home for Christmas and snacking on some of my homemade cinnamon and maca oat balls 🤗 These are super easy to make 👇🏻 🔸100g oats 🔸1 tbsp chia seeds 🔸1 tbsp flax seed 🔸1 tbsp maca powder 🔸1 tsp cinnamon 🔸40g raisins 🔸2 tbsp coconut oil, melted 🔸50g honey or agave 🔸50g peanut butter . . 🥄Mix together the dry ingredients and set aside 🥄Combine the honey, peanut butter and coconut oil and melt in the microwave for 30-45 secs until it stirs together easily 🥄Stir the peanut butter mixture into the oats and mix well 🥄Roll into balls (it will be sticky!) and set in the fridge for an hour or so to firm up...or the freezer for 30 mins if you’re feeling impatient 😅😅 #oatmealraisin  #energyballs  #macapowder

1 tablespoon  white vinegar
1/2 cup  canned pumpkin puree
3 tablespoons  coconut oil melted and cooled
1 teaspoon  vanilla extract
1/3 cup  maple syrup 
1/2 cup  old fashioned oats
1 teaspoon  baking soda
1/2 cup  cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon  salt
2/3 cups  vegan dark chocolate chips + handful more for topping  Blend oats and beans. Mix all ingredients together.  Pour into an 8x8 greased cooking pan. Sprinkle handful of chocolate chips on top and bake on 350 for about 20 min. 😋

🍯100g oats
🍯1 tbsp chia seed (I used white chia seed from @thechiaco)
🍯25g cranberries
🍯30g white chocolate chips
🍯1 tbsp coconut oil
🍯50g honey/agave
🍯50g peanut butter (or any nut butter!)
