Breakfast this AM! Chocolate protein waffles (choc protein powder, eggs, almond milk, banana, cinnamon) topped with a sliced banana, homemade almond cashew butter, Cacao nibs, coconut , crushed walnuts, and a drizzle of honey. YUM! Also just ordered myself some of the new organic vanilla and coconut (my favorite) @toneitup protein powder. So glad they still ship all the way here! 🇸🇬
Breakfast for dinner 🥞. These protein pancakes topped with sautéed apples was bomb 💣. ▫️▫️▫️
🔸 1 scoop protein powder (I used @pescience Snickerdoodle)
🔸1 whole egg
🔸1 egg white
🔸1/8tsp baking soda
🔸dash cinnamon & nutmeg
🔸splash @lovemysilk almond/coconut milk
Mix all ingredients together and add to hot griddle. Cook til golden brown. While that’s cooking make the topping 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼
🔸 1 small pink lady apple
🔸2tbs @pescience protein4oats maple & brown sugar 🔸dash pumpkin pie spice
Cut apple into small strips (I cut it into 4 pieces, then cut each of those into 4 pieces.) Add to medium-high heated pan with a touch of olive oil. Let cook until just starting to get soft. Add spice and protein4oats and toss together. Add water and let water simmer out.
Voila!! Enjoy! ▫️▫️▫️

These were a quick low carb high protein waffle which I topped with chocolate protein powder syrup and peanut butter with a little bit of whip cream just because 😊

In an effort to eat a little better in 2018, I've been working on more meal prep. One of my favorites so far: protein waffles.
Make a big batch, fire up the forgotten waffle iron, and waffle away while watching GOT. Freeze them and toast them up just like eggos on the mornings you want them.
Also, sugar free, waste-free, and only ingredients you know. 👌

Breakfast of champions 😍 I decided to try Kodiak cake waffle mix and I am in love! To increase my protein intake I added 1st phorm’s Level-1 meal replacement cinnamon cookie batter protein! I made a cup of waffle mix with a scoop of level-1 and 1 cup of water to make 2 waffles🤤 (one for me and one for hubby) then I top it off with pure maple syrup and fresh raspberries and blackberries! 1 heaping scoop Banana Bone Broth Protein Powder mix with 1 cup Bisquick and 1/2C Steel Cut Oats.
Top with 2TBS Natural Peanut Butter
& 1 chopped banana. 🍌
Happy #wafflewednesday igers! Today's waffle is obviously a stuffed #proteinwaffle made with @myproteinuk caesin, 2 egg yolks, maple flavdrops and @grenadeofficial Hazel Nutter spread. Inside was stuffed with 3 squares (26.25g) of @cocoa.plus milk chocolate and topped with @max_protein white chocolate Protein Pops. Swipe left to see the egg white omelette I made with the leftover whites and some of the products used in creating this.
It tasted GOOD. Way better than a regular liquid batter protein waffle, much more filling and with very similar macros if you ignore all the added chocolate! I was super full after eating all this! In future I'll probably halve the recipe so as to make a waffle to have later, but yeah this was lush.
Macros (for both waffles, all toppings and the egg white omelette): 17g carbs
