As I wrap up my daily manifestation meditation and sit down with my glass of ketones to write out notes for a team huddle tonight, I can’t help but write out everything that I’m grateful for. I hear so many people filled with hopelessness and despair, whether it be in regards to their weight loss, relationship(s), finances, etc and it pains me. I have been there and struggled with all of those and more, and if you’ve watched my journey to where I am today, then I pray I give you the hope that there is peace and a beautiful life ahead.
It’s so easy to blend with the mentality of the world and to feed into negativity and bullshit mindsets that we’ve been taught as “truth.” I could have $1 in the bank and signing divorce papers but still look into my life and find hundreds of reasons to be grateful. Take the time to look in front of you and see the abundance that is there already and release the toxic that hinders your personal growth. As soon as your mindset changes so will those relationships, finances, and whatever struggles you have weighing you down. Today was pretty warm here - for winter. I took my jacket off in the car and I noticed that none of my tummy touched the steering wheel - ( short girl problems 😬) there was actually a huge space between the wheel and my body !
I have been avoiding the scale because that bish lies to me all the time 😡-but I am slimming down and losing fat - it’s just a benefit to the ketones I have been drinking 🌈

As I was sitting there waiting for class to start I starting thinking about all the different workouts I have done over the years and in the end what has rendered the best results for me.
For years I have KILLED myself with workouts. We are talking sweat dripping, breathless, “I think I see the light, I hope my will is up to date, I am coming for you Elizabeth” workouts.
And the most infuriating part of all of it...I wasn’t losing weight like I thought I would by killing myself. But that’s because I was going off what I THOUGHT I knew... Then I started educating myself. I also paid a crap ton of money to find out what Just reading and researching I found out for free.
Conventional wisdom has conditioned us to believe going faster, working harder and burning more calories is the path to weight loss. 🙅🏻♀️ Slow down, burn fat, go Keto. Speed up, burn sugar, fail Keto, store fat.
Legit, slow down and smell the roses.

I used to think I was going to burn up all that hard earned muscle. But I've been doing my research and boy was I wrong!! Fasted workouts help you tap into your fats stores. I had a bunch of errands to run Tuesday, as you may have seen yesterday, that included a post office run for special deliveries, which took much longer than expected.
I realized I had wished I had brought a bottle of water with me, but I hadn’t even thought of food yet.
FOR THE ENTIRE DAY.
I used to be that person that planned the next meal before my current meal was even done, And though I’ve been intermittent fasting for a while now, thinking about food has disappeared.
💡 Who is this person that is not eating emotionally or binging after a hard day?
💡Who is this girl that no longer eats ONLY at designated mealtimes?
💡 Where did her need to plan and prepare every meal ahead of time go?
I don’t recognize her 100% yet but I sure like the way it feels to be her!! ❕

It’s extremely difficult to let go of something when you can’t see what is in store for you. In the same mindset it’s equally as challenging to have the blind confidence that the hard times you’re in, is creating something truly special for you. .
Without that struggle, you wouldn’t be able to receive the greater things. As humans we don’t like change, but change is in our daily lives no matter what we do to avoid it. It is absolutely the consistent in our life, & the best thing we can use to improve our lives & create something uniquely magical. .
“Hard times don’t last, hard people do.” I love what this quote stands for & conveys. However “hard people” just means those who are willing to fight through the hard times & not become a victim of their environment or circumstances. .
Hard times will always come & go, but the lessons & gifts (yes, GIFTS) from the hard times is what builds a beautiful life.❤
