▫️This place is fascinating: Mount Fuji as viewed from Chureito Pagoda. I spent several hours there by taking nearly the same photo over and over again, while trying to capture all the changing conditions - especially light, colors and clouds. I like the cloud circle which is covering the peak of Mount Fuji in this version. ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

As the Kaskawulsh Glacier appeared in the distance, it felt like we'd gone back in time, to a much wilder place of nearly incomprehensible scale. The plane hummed on until the pilot cleared his throat and broke the silence over the headsets...
"To give you a bit of scale, that glacier below you is over five kilometres wide."
I love road trips! There's nothing like packing a small bag, and your camera equipment (of course!) and taking off for a few days. Off adventuring again soon and I cannot wait! #mycanonstory shot by @amandapeixotoelkins

Those evergreens I mentioned in yesterday's post? Here they are. It really is two different worlds in one. I love places that aren't monotonous and have plenty of surprises. Do you have any recommendations for me? Where should I go next?
One of our favorite views from the John Muir Trail wasn't on the JMT at all. This incredible view of Bullfrog Lake is from the Bubb Creek Trail on the way back from our resupply in Independence. What a spot!
