I wanted to take a step back and share some thoughts about the value of planning. I spend 9 hours a day in a place where constant change is the norm, it is the expectation of my teams and clients that I'm able to perform and deliver, regardless of several projects existing in parallel of one another. This means I must adapt to change quickly, and effectively. I fail at meeting those expectations at times, and at times the weight of my workload is absolutely crushing. So how do we deal with this? Planning. Outside of the expectations of teams and clients, it is most imperative to set the correct expectations for ourselves. Start each day by outlining your commitments or tasks, set a direction which is aligned with your daily visions, goals, or aspirations. Practice this daily, you'll begin to notice a shift in the way events unfold for you. Be intentional about your living, you'll find that your experiences are a result of the expectations you create. #qa#test#planning
