"We sometimes underestimate the influence of little things." - Charles W. Chestnut
After feeling pretty bummed about getting sick on my birthday leave from work, and not getting to go on the 'soul-searching solo hike' that I had planned, I instead went on a short walk through the woods with my old pup. I was stopped in my tracks by the beauty of this little, perfect leaf in the muck. It was a good reminder to appreciate the little things and that you can find small moments of happiness if you keep your mind open to the possibility. It's easy getting caught up trying to chase those big moments of joy, but the small moments are just as important to our daily happiness. 😌🙏🍂So glad I didn't opt to simply mope on my couch!
