I'm experimenting with Fizz variations tonight. I made several versions then wanted to see if I could layer two Fizzes, so this bottom portion is one separate Fizz with Old Tom Gin, lime, cinnamon, egg white and cream. The top Fizz has vanilla-infused Cognac, lemon, maple syrup, egg white and cream. The flavors stayed individual for a couple of sips, but eventually they merged and made a nice drink. I wanted to use ingredients that worked together for this reason. The layering effect didn't work, but it is a tasty beverage nonetheless and a concept I may revisit later on. Now to drink this 14oz Fizz.
🔔Sound on!🔊I uploaded this with no sound the first time. @nateredner @lisers make a Ramos Gin Fizz but not quite in time (directors cut; 10 mins of shaking). Julian Cox bartending course. Learning from the best and it was a riot.
Inspired by @hotrumcow to pop into @darkhorsebath for a #ramosginfizz with @saber1832 but fear the need to "shake incredibly vigorously exactly 50 times" may get me barred! Illustration by #laurenrebbeck
