one thing you love about your body 👉🏻 go! in a world where we are constantly judged and judge ourselves, we don't look in the mirror enough and say "damn, i look good." i am guilty of it for sure. but this morning before the chaos of all of our days begins i want us all to say one thing we love about our bodies and give ourselves some love. i'll go first. for me, it's my arms. they may not have gotten me to a pull up yet, but my baby arm muscles are growing and i am both blessed & proud of myself for the definition in my arms. my arms for sure make me look like a bad ass 💪🏻👊🏻 alright, gimme what you got. and don't hold back. this isn't the place to be humble. show me your "kayne" side 💁🏼
The bean and I had an amazing time last night at a local (Milwaukee!) gluten free group meet up organized by the lovely @celiacinthecity!! Our dinner was at Wauwatiki in Tosa and the ENTIRE menu is naturally gluten free, including this delicious patty melt (w/ 🍟!!) So fun to eat out with lots of options and no risk 🙌🙌🙌
Healthy, on the go eating brought to you by the OG Tupperware, the mason jar. Layer your dressing and veggies on the bottom (the veggies kind of marinate in the dressing) then protein and greens. Make sure to leave some room at the top so you can shake and mix it all together!
With my parents in town, I haven't had much time to meal prep but I squeezed in some basics. So easy does it with my lunches ➡️dressing on the bottom: 1 tbsp olive oil, 1/2 lemon squeezed, salt & pepper then the veggie layer: tomatoes, carrots & zucchini, protein: lemon pepper chicken breast, greens: spinach and couldn't forget @betterbeanco on top!
Open your mind to the best chicken liver pâté! This recipe comes from my friend & fellow NTP @danieledellavallentp. It's incredibly delicious, so much so that I can't stop making it! Organ meats are so nutrient-dense, they can't be beat. (Especially when we eat foods grown in mineral-depleted soils. Did you know that some oranges are so nutrient depleted that they contain NO Vitamin C?) Replace the deficit with a pâté that tastes like the base flavor of rich, oniony, chicken soup! We keep a mound of frozen bananas in our freezer at all times! They are a must for any plant based diet! We use them in smoothies, acai bowls, banana nice cream, and a bunch of other recipes. We store them in an open container in the freezer so that they don't get freezer burn and we use them up pretty fast. .
semi burned my hand because I forgot the oatmeal was hot 😂I'm so happy to be finally eating the normal foods in my diet 🙌🏽 this combo was oats, a scoop of @vitalproteins collagen peptides, a cap full of @bulletproof brain octane, cinnamon, coconut milk, half a smashed banana 🍌 topped with almond butter, coconut flakes and cherries 🍒 after being off for a while, I'm finally back to work and getting back on my routine 💪🏼happy Thursday!
Healthy alfredo pasta anyone?? 😍😍 Our friend Amy from @eatsbyames made this dreamy chickpea pasta dish with a healthier alfredo sauce, and seasoned it with our @natierrasuperfoods Pink Salt 😋 Plus it's easy to make!
Melt 1 tbsp butter in a saucepan on medium heat and add 1 minced garlic clove + a pinch lemon zest. After about a minute, add in 2 tsp whole wheat flour + 1 cup skim milk. Finally, add in 2 tbsp cream cheese + 1/2 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese.
Set the alfredo sauce aside and sauté a handful of spinach + one small head of broccoli florets + 1/2 a green zucchini diced in a pan with Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Season with Italian spice + @natierrasuperfoods Pink Salt + cracked pepper.
Combine strained pasta, the sauce and veggies together.

Chocolate chip zucchini bread for breakfast anyone?🙋🏻 This was my first attempt with zucchini bread and it turned out pretty damn well😋 I was inspired to bake this by the amazing @wyld.flour💛 I switched out the vegetable oil for coconut oil, Greek yogurt for coconut yogurt, and granulated sugar for coconut sugar (wow that's a lot of coconut!😜)
I'll be eating slices of this with nearly every meal for the next few days👏🏼
