1/2 steamed then frozen zephyr squash (you can use zucchini or simmer squash, I just have an abundance of this growing it in my garden 👌🏻)
1/2 frozen peach
1/2 frozen banana

all the greens on this sunny September tuesday! so I said I would elaborate on my choice for not eating wild caught salmon. while I am totally in tune with the benefits of eating whole, wild caught salmon, I personally believe that overfishing is a huge problem in our world today. wild caught salmon contributes to overfishing because of the high demand for "fresh" wild caught fish. however, as I learned from my partner who has a masters degree in environmental sciences, farm-raised salmon isn't inherently bad for us. because fish is so highly regulated, we are probably not consuming as many added chemicals as we think through eating farmed fish! so, there you have it, my two cents! now back to dis GOAL BOWL, here's how to do it: handful on microgreens, organic cherry tomatoes, organic zucchini from my local farmers market 🙌, organic mushrooms and salmon with @primalkitchenfoods avocado oil to top it all off. Last night was our monthly "Make and Take" for our team! (The best night of the month 😍) People often want to use more natural products but aren't willing to pay an arm and a leg for them at the store. For example - There's products readily available on our shelves made primarily from Petrolatum....known endocrine disruptors. Often used on chaffing areas and lips.
Why use them at all? Why risk it. They can easily be replaced with a beeswax based salve...throw in some healing oil such as calendula and carrot and guess what??? ≫ in a food processor, combine 1 cup soft dates + 2 tsp coconut oil. process until smooth and then add 2 tsp coconut milk + 1.5 tsp maple syrup with a pinch of cinnamon. set aside
