A friendly advice: remove toxic people out of your life. People who want to make you cry, who want you to feel guilty and weaker than them. Don't let them ruin your life just because they think that "this is justice". You all deserve a lot more, trust me 💪
Every morning we turn off the tv and take some time to do fun learning activities. This week we’ve been working on number recognition in Adrian’s learning journal! 😀 since he loves stickers I have him take out the stickers and stick them on the number 3 (number recognition and working on his fine motor skills)📓 .
It’s so important to take time out to find different ways to teach our children 📚
Omg. So...henna is a MESS and takes forever to wash out -- but these RESULTS! I am NEVER going back to box dye. I want to keep my red hair vibrant, but not at the expense of my curls, and box dye is really drying out the ends. I'm tired of caring for high porosity curls, so here's hoping henna will help them heal/retain moisture. Plus I can touch up as often as I want without any damage! 😍
Photos from left to right:
1) It was bizarre but fun to see my hair this weird shade of green for a bit, haha! This took so much more patience than I'm used to with box dye; you can see how gritty and thick in consistency it is, but it was surprisingly easy to distribute with a wide-tooth comb.
2) Mixed henna! It was like playing with mud, and I was so tempted to put some in Evie's hair because she couldn't keep her hands off. 😂 I remembered it being mud-like when I first played with it five or so years ago, but this time around was made a heck of a lot easier by adding 1 cup of hot water, 1 egg, and 2 tablespoons each of apple cider vinegar & olive oil. After that, it was actually more like brownie batter than mud.
3 & 4) Pre-and-post-SOTC, and such a GORGEOUS shade of red. I rushed diffusing it because I was so excited to see results, so there's quite a bit of frizz -- but I SWEAR my curls feel so much healthier texture-wise, and even look like they want to curl up into 3A!
