Have you ever made something you HATED? I hadnt until this week end. Ive made this pattern before but in solid colors. Its a good quick project that usually yields impressive results, but maybe its the self stacking yarn... Maybe its the colors. Something about it gives me an absolute migraine to work on it. After an hour staring at the pattern just kills me, my eyes hate trying to focus on it. So, by felicia. Youre wide enough and pretty enough for a child's scarf. Looks like Ill do a fancy border and some fringe, abuse it a little to make it soft, and take it as a lesson learned. Not all patterns work for all colors.
My daughter chose this vest I crocheted for her for her school picture tomorrow. She has picked an iridescent silk, plum-colored top and black skirt to go with it. (This was her 3rd attempt, & I'm happy with it for pictures.)
Well, Birgit @neat_sweet_petite , this is what I would be working on if I hadn't taken my hook out of my project bag to work on something else and forgotten to put it back. Don't you just HATE when that happens? You grab your project bag and get to your destination (this time a dog sit), ready for some hookin' and--no hook! Arrgh!!😠😠😠 It would be the Catesby 3 Hour Cowl by Kathryn Jones on Ravelry. I've made it longer and am using a discontinued Red Heart yarn: Boutique Midnight.
Thanks so much for asking, Birgit. I've been away from Instagram for a bit, lots going on. Would @zirdelina and @monsooncalamity like to play? No pressure and no hurry, ladies, as usual.... #crochet#crocheters#crochetersofinstagram#crochetaddict#crochetlove#crochetlife#crochetcowls#redheartyarn#canwegetridofthisheatandmakeitbefall
