People come to you to get relief; most often it's as if you're another form of medication, in this case your detrimental side effect is their reliance upon you.
You are not actually helping them become stronger they are still stuck within the same cycle of dependence- they have done well to withdraw from meds but stop at
So the big picture here is that they will not improve long-term until you stop becoming there depending and start becoming their agent for change
It's one thing to suggest to your patients what should be done to better their health but it's much more impactful to show them what their body is suggesting them to do by teaching them to listen to their body is best practice.

I never thought after my automobile accident I would be able to physically or mentally pick up my broken pieces and start over, yet, here I am. Core Stabilization - Dead Bug
This is a variation of the dead bug that furthermore challenges core strength.
1️⃣The bands should be giving resistance from above the head. Bring your arms up to 90 degrees of shoulder flexion.
2️⃣Bring your hips up to 90 degrees and go into a posterior pelvic tilt (flatten your back).
3️⃣While sustaining the pelvic tilt, slowly alternate kicking one leg out.
4️⃣As your leg becomes more straight, it will be more difficult to sustain the pelvic tilt, go out as far as you can before you have to untilt.

[[ AIM TIP - LOAD EM POSTERIOR ]] Deadlifts are awesome but these Hami pullthroughs are one of AIM's go to exercises for the posterior chain (all that stuff behind you cant see!) work, both on beginners as well as elite athletes.
It is simple, very effective and requires handling only your bodyweight to make your hamstrings more resilient and stronger. It can be used to LEARN how to engage the whole body, load+work the hamstring or work on strength endurance.
AIM TIP -
Doing this on a ball means you can make it easier or harder by the placement of your feet/heels and it keeps you honest from a stabilisation perspective too.
The intentions behind this is to get your body organised through the midline and glutes while the work is done predominantly through the hamstring.
Start by doing x10 with both feet and once you can do 3x20 then you can move on to single leg variation 😊
Use it as a finisher at the end of workout or add it I'm as part of your warm up.

Fear Mongering can have a long term negative impact on someone's physical and mental well being. It has minimal positive benefits and a tremendous amount of negative consequences.
Far too often healthcare practitioners make patients feel brittle, easily broken, not aligned, and afraid to move. From thinking they can't squat below parallel to thinking they can't lift weight overhead. I see this too frequently, and the timidness/fear it provokes can be very challenging to overcome once it had been repeatedly drilled into someone's brain.
The truth is - the body is extremely resilient, strong, not out of place, aligned properly, and has an amazing ability to heal.
When a patient finishes an interaction with a healthcare provider they should feel encouraged, motivated, and on the path to being even more well-being.
