Here's the brilliant The Amorettes (@theamorettesofficial) with "Whoot Woo".
This song is taken from their album "Haulin' Ass" which has just been announced an hour ago that there will be a 2000 copy reissue on 16th June which is available for pre-order now via this link: https://theamorettes.noisemerchants.com/product/the-amorettes-haulin-ass-cd/
These will be individually numbered and signed by the a band! Get while you can! We've already ordered ours!
A common past-time for me and my friends is "which band that you listen to would scare a suburban mother the most?". When confronting this puzzle, I don't turn to the likes of Obituary, Carcass or Morbid Angel. The one answer for me is the mighty Pig Destroyer
These guys truly define the power of the guitar, drums and vocals, purveying a psychotic brand of grindcore, with an incredible ability to switch between buzzsaw grind and massive pneumatic sledgehammer riffs. If the serpentine combination of Scott Hull and Brian Harvey isnt enough to sate your appetite, the downright lunacy of JR Hayes vocal performance on this album should tide you over. With a strangely appealing sense of poetry he paints a disturbing story of a jilted ex-lover and a complete descent into paranoid insanity.
If you really want to challenge yourself musically, this album is a mighty gauntlet to pass.
