The alarm went off at 5:30 AM on Friday 😳, it was our last morning at #perchbayresort in #kenora 😩. The sunrise was calling my name ☺️, I tried the previous morning too, however, Mother Nature didn't get my memo 🤦♀️, so that plan kind of fell through 😏. Anyways, I was lying there debating whether I should just pretend like the alarm didn't go off 🤔. Anyone that knows me, knows I'm pretty stubborn, which in this case it was a good thing bc it got the best of me 🙌 and I started brewing the coffee ☕️! I got out to the dock and noticed there was nothing but clear skies and birds chirping... I was like ok this is going to be good! 💃 Not only was the sunrise AMAZING that morning, shortly after the sun came up, these two loons came right up to the dock (I was thinking in my head - "is this really happening?!?! Lol ) The one Loon bobbed underwater catching breakfast for the other, I was like this is what you call breakfast in bed! 🤣 The moral to this story is... get the heck out of bed and take charge of your day- cause you never know what kind of stories you are going to be able to tell by time the sun goes down ⚡️👊🏻⚡️ #unforgettable#remarkable#mademyday

One thing that I try to be aware of is that people don’t care about what I’m doing, it’s what I’m doing that add value to them that matters. And, they don’t care what I’ve done in the past; it’s HOW I did it. These are things that build my reputation and the reason why I try to take, e.g., my LinkedIn profile from a traditional resumé site to a reputation site showing what people can expect from me.
So I have avoided this all day for a reason, it breaks my heart that he has left us. We only had 2 and he was the best, no one can fill his shoes in the much needed arena of conscious awareness with a joke behind it. #dickgregory is a #remarkable man and will truly be missed
