We saw this design by @buildingwalnutfarm on @simplygrove’s beautiful feed & to say it stopped us in our tracks would be an understatement.😱😍It’s so beautiful, right?
Love this wreath display over the mantle from Cynthia @cynthia_harper_. She is this week's pick for #BrightWhiteWednesday . Her home is so warm and inviting just as she is. 📷 photo by @cynthia_harper_ // We’re taking a break from #brightwhitewednesday and will return after the New Year. This has been so fun for me to be a part of. Thank you from all the hosts below:
It’s never a sad day when a client wants to get rid of all the brown & beige ☺️ @mixdesigncollective #jwbathremodel
Still life with a bundle of wood in the new living room.
BEFORE & AFTER
I’ve found the ‘before’ photos of our house prior to the budget friendly renovation that we completed before moving in. It’s amazing what a coat of paint, glass doors and a completely new kitchen can do! Don’t you just love the glorious yellow glow the apricot walls provide🤢 It’s a little hard to see, but by removing the free standing oven and opting for the built-in, the kitchen benches now form a U shape and provide so much more space and storage for such a small area. In total this kitchen reno cost about $3000. Also, a big thank you to everyone who has shared their opinion about the kitchen pendant lights (see stories) I’m thinking about. Great minds think alike and the first option looks like a clear winner👌🏼

Here is a comparison I found very interesting in regard to different finishes. On the left is a cutting board I made from mostly padauk and finished with nothing but @walrusoil. The mallet head on the right is also made from padauk but finished with formby’s Tung oil finish (actually a wiping varnish). These two pieces were cut from the SAME BOARD. You can see how much of a difference the type of finish you apply can make. See how the grain explodes on the cutting board, but is much more subtle on the mallet head? It’s all personal preference but I gotta vote for the @walrusoil on this one.
So much has gone down... more concrete wall came down to allow more space and access to kitchenette and mini lounge..... Always remember, before knocking down a wall or section to ensure that it ain't a load bearing wall/section, meaning it's not holding up other wall in the space. A miscalculation maybe catastrophic... #purejoy#art#love#location#site#renovation Aluminium partition pieces came in, Gypsum boards, Timber for the structure.... exciting... woohoooo! Looking forward to the final result... #n#white#spaceswithdavie#pieces#movement#flow
This photo captures Brisbane’s sunset in a windows reflection at the very peak of The balmoral hillside.
