After spending yesterday evening with family my husband turns to me and says "Do you want to go thrift shopping tomorrow?" That was the best ending to an already great day.
Today has been a typical Monday. My little boy dragged his stuffed animal through mud, milk was spilled on carpet, and the DVD player decided to die. But I still have an bounce in my step because of the silver lining of thrift store shopping. Nothing's gonna get me down today. Searching for new paintings is so much fun and it's already proving to be the highlight of my day - and I haven't even left home yet. 🌈
I hope you all have a silver lining planned for your Monday to make it a little brighter. ❤️⛅️
PS: framed and matted prints are my absolute favorite thing. I'm working on framing each print and creating a gallery wall in our home. I think it'll be amazing to see each new painting added to the wall and see my progress over time.
"HAVE A NICE DAY" - Mixed media assemblage collage inspired by the classic "have a nice day" smiley face. Components include vintage found photo, scrabble tiles, vintage composition paper, and a mess of tangled wires I saved from my jewelry supplies (knew it would come in handy for something)
I redecorate/clean my house for every season. There's just something fun and refreshing about it. I try to stay away from traditional holiday decor and stick with a color scheme. This print on the development from a seed to a plant screams Halloween/fall decor to me! 🕷
