"Today's rain is tomorrow's Whiskey." Oh Scotland! How I've loved meeting you. They say there's no bad weather only wrong clothes in Scotland so my only complaint was my hair. (It's a girl thing mostly)
With so many photos I still come back to Loch Ness. The drive around all the books and crannys was amazing. Thanks to Mark at Urquart Castle for the tips. Can you see the mast of a submersed yacht from storms?

When the sun finally showed and we walked hand in hand, barefoot along where the waves kiss the sand...all was good in the world • have a beautiful weekend friends 🌊 // explore the outdoors 🌿

Soooo, I did it again. I went to the Kangaroo Sanctuary in Alice Springs when I passed through with the World Solar Challenge. It was actually something a few members of the teams got to do as Alice had an event checkpoint and it was a cloudy day, which slowed the cars down. In case you’ve been hiding under a rock the Kangaroo Sanctuary is world famous (I’ll tag them in to the post) and a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Everyone gets a cuddle of a baby kangaroo and if you’re lucky you might also see Roger, the world’s most famous kangaroo. Thanks for having me Brolga and Tahnee and thanks for bringing me to Alice Springs @World_Solar_Challenge #BWSC17#Sp
Looking back towards the top of the cliffs of Látrabjarg while heading back 2/2
The descent from the cliffs was uneventful, the weather started to change and the wind to pick up, there was mist in the air from the spray of the waves!
At this point we were going to head back to our camping spot for the night... but we ended up staying a few more hours. You’ll find out why in my next post ☺️ ⛰🌊❤️
Late summer 2017
Probably one of my favorite sunrise hikes.

The Bent Pyramid of Snefru. Since returning to the U.S. I haven’t had a car. I’m definitely missing one of my favorite pastimes, a good road trip. One of my favorites while living abroad was a short trip from Cairo down to Dahshur. Our first stop was Giza, then a bit further south to the step pyramid of Saqqara, then on to Dahshur. About 40km south of Cairo, Dahshur is the site of the Red and Bent Pyramids, both ordered constructed by Snefru. The Bent Pyramid, pictured in the distance, was built around 2600 B.C. and retains much of it’s smooth limestone surface. It’s considered to be one of the most well-preserved of all the ancient pyramids of Egypt. It’s believed to have been initially constructed at too steep of an angle resulting in the architects changing the angle resulting in the bent top half. I’m sure Snefru wasn’t upset at all. If you ever get to Cairo, enjoy a nice drive south to see all of the various monuments. You may even have some of the sites to yourself, as tourism in Egypt is way down. It’s actually a great time to go! #egypt#pyramids#dahshur#africa#cairo
"Give me but one hour of Scotland, let me see it ere I die."
The wonderful drive around Loch Ness on the way to Inverness. I took a side trip to Stirling and Bridge of Allan which I promised my Mum, before she left this world, that I would one day see. Stopped at the pub, climbed the William Wallace Memorial tower and took the most beautiful country drives. Scotland, I love you just as Mum knew I would. Rest my dear. Be kind. @visitscotland #visitscotland @canonuk #canonuk @canoncollectiveofficial #canoncollective @insta.scotland #insta .scotland @rural_love #rural_love
Adele Island is not only incredibly beautiful from sea level, but the birds eye view isn't too bad either! 😉
The island is accessible on both water taxi and kayak journeys, so make sure you're booked in for your next visit into the Abel Tasman!
This is the first wild koala 🐨 I’ve ever seen and I saw it in Adelaide no less! On the outskirts of Adelaide is Morialta Conservation Park. There’s a lot you can walk to such as Three falls, the lookout and plenty of climbing spots. Adelaide so far ✅
#dusk after sunset at Lake #cootharaba with a lone tree :-) the light was so beautiful the afternoon we where here you just could but to keep the camera snapping. When there is no wind around this lake produces such wonderful reflections. If your visiting #noosa don't forget to try and see this lake guys, you will thank me for it :-)
Two posts today because why not? 📷✨ This was a truly intense staring contest that lasted longer than any other I’ve ever had with an Icelandic sheep! 🐑✨ It was epic, but I guess I won eventually because she walked away! 💁🏻✨
