155kg felt supper light today, even know the reps were semi wobbly.
This was the first time I put my belt on in 7 months.  Why?
I believe breathing and bracing correctly in a movement or lift is essential to having a strong lift and giving the highest power output my body can handle. By not Utilising my belt For a long period of time I learnt how to breathe, brace and hold tightness throughout my lifts. I also don’t use wrist wraps, knee sleeves or any wraps at this point in time, Only because I didn’t want to rely on anything but myself. I wanted to be confident enough that if I didn’t have any of the above I could still perform big lifts.  Now in saying this I’m not saying you should or shouldn’t use a belt I’m just saying it might be beneficial for you to not use your belt for a short to medium period of time if you’re someone who has trouble with breathing bracing and holding tightness in your lifts.
I know that I will be able to handle more weight with a belt so I do believe it’s important to have periods that my belt will be utilised. At the end of the day, if a belt allows you to handle more weight then yes it will have massive benefits for your strength progression and your total 😉 #natty

National qualifier done and dusted for @abbie_ohl93 after a stubborn weight cut to the 67.5kg class she walked away with a very easy PB on squats at 147.5kg a 60kg bench and a 150kg Deadlift. Not bad at all for a very short prep! Now on to states •

Today marks the last day of my Introductory Cycle. Today's top set was 136kg/300lbs×5.

I trained solo today which is why my camera angle is all screwed up. Idk how some of you guys can post multiple videos in a day, but i give yall props. I filmed a side angle so you can see i am hitting depth. 
The first 3 reps felt great, but the 4th threw me off because my spotter touched my elbows which threw my whole balance off. Finished strong and all i will be doing this weekend is stretching and eating. Next week i will begin the Base Cycle and will be squatting 4 days a week for 3 weeks straight. May god have mercy on my soul.

Większość z nas niestety nie ma dostępu do profesjonalnych ławeczek 😒, a większość z nich nie nadaje się do niczego oprócz siedzenia. Dlatego przychodzę z pomocą i podrzucam proste rozwiązanie, dzięki którym przestaniesz ślizgać się po ławce podczas wyciskania leżąc.

Jeśli poprawnie mostkujesz i ustawiasz się do wyciskania na pewno zależy ci, żeby nie zgubić tej pozycji podczas serii. .
Z reguły im wyższy mostek, tym ciężej jest utrzymać poprawną pozycję, a w tym na pewno przeszkadza standardowa ławka, więc jeśli nie posiadasz specjalnej koszulki jak BarGrip (która swoją drogą kosztuje prawie 50 euro 😫) lub specjalnej nakładki na ławkę (tak, istnieją takie cuda) to najprostszym sposobem jest:
👉Położenie na ławce najtańszej maty do jogi (jak na zdjęciu), której w miarę szorstka powierzchnia zapobiegnie jakiemukolwiek przesuwaniu się po ławce. Większość siłowni ma takie na stanie, jeśli nie to koszt takiej maty to trochę ponad 20zł na allegro.

Squat for 2 x 1, 405 lbs, rpe 9 first single, 9.5 second (First and Second Video) hit the right safety both times so I misgrooved hard, honestly didn't feel bad. 2nd single looked worse because I really hit the safety hard... Squat for 2 x 4, 365 lbs, rpe 10 (Third Video) hit 4 the first set but the 2nd set which is shown I only got 2 these felt like shittttt

W4 D3 enjoying the deload and focusing on on the snatch technique. Snatch push press + 2 Heaving Snatch Balances and Snatch Grip Deficit Deadlift for 5 reps and these are just exhausting especially near the end of the workout.

Na deloadzie postanowiłem zobaczyć jak wygląda obecnie mój sumo. Oprócz tego, że brak tu jakiejkolwiek techniki to na drugie podejście do tego ćwiczenia jest całkiem całkiem.

Squats didnt feel as smooth today, but its probably cause i ran to the rack and didn't warm up like i usually do. I finished off with some RDL'S, lying leg curls and some calf raises and thats all she wrote! 🖒

In other news what are some solid squat pants or shorts that you would recommend? Leave any suggestions ⬇
