Years ago honey healed my face. I was at the end of my rope with my acne and was willing to try anything. Honey is antibacterial and also acts as a humectant, drawing moisture to the skin. It helps improve tone and elasticity. Whenever I need to reset my skin it is my go to. This formula combines some of my favorite ingredients to heal, hydrate, and medicate... naturally. Sunflower oil is non irritating and high in lineolic acid. It helps unclog pores while being packed with vitamins C, E, and K. Thanks to its polyunsaturated fatty acid content, sunflower oil has even been shown to help reduce the risk of infection by improving the skin’s barrier function and structural integrity. Did I mention it was infused with healing all star, calendula? Yes, ma'am. I included my new fav, manuka essential oil, which is 30 times stronger than tea tree at fighting bacteria! It helps speed recovery of any open pimples you may have while helping to decrease breakouts in progress. This blend also includes litsea cubeba, tea tree, and lavender essential oils to further soothe the skin and speed recovery. I plan on using this cleanser after my typical double cleanse while showering. (Just pop it on, jump in the shower, let the steam do its work, wash off- then tone and moisturize!) I have very limited numbers of the @cosmicgardens collab items so if you see something you like, snag it! 🐝 #lesleysaligoebotanicals#selfcare#ritual#revolution#homey#calendula#natural#cleanser#facewash#fave#skin#skincare#skincareroutine#honeywash#honeycleanser#sunfloweroil#acne#acnetips#acnetreatment
The Haitian Revolution was the result of a long and painful struggle on the part of the slaves in the French colony of St. Domingue, but was also propelled by the free Mulattoes who had long faced the trials of being denoted as semi-citizens. This revolt was not unique, as there were several rebellions of its kind against the institution of plantation slavery in the Caribbean, but the Haitian Revolution the most successful. This had a great deal to do with the influence of the French Revolution, as it helped to inspire events in Haiti. The Haitian Revolution would go on to serve as a model for those affected by slavery throughout the world , including the hidden culture hidden in High School text books 📚😒. #neverforget#haiti#revolution#History#Black#onepeople#1791#OnePeopleDifferentCultures Do yourself a favor and know the history and the brain washed blacks calling many names as they did to many Africans upon arriving to the states. If we could have stuck together instead of apart, imagine where we could be.
Frauen streben Großes an.
#repost#women#woman#revolution#islam#hijab#afghanistan

I named this body wash "Holy" because the scent reminds me of incense in a temple. Not at all overpowering or cloying. This is a classic carnation blend with warm, powdery sandalwood and musk. It's sensual and sure. Seriously, its my most favorite smell right now and I'm considering making a perfume to mimic this goodness. 💁🏽French red clay gives this blend a characteristic earthy tone while detoxifying and gently exfoliating the skin. Argan oil luxuriously hydrates while sea buckthorn helps to heal and rejuvenate the dermis. I can't get enough of this stuff; simple perfection.
Argan Oil: Argan oil is most commonly used as a skin moisturiser to hydrate and soften skin. With its high vitamin E and fatty acid content, argan oil is the ideal product to give skin a natural boost. It absorbs easily and is non-greasy and non-irritating, which makes it a great natural moisturiser.
French Red Clay: Rich in kaolinite, illite, montmorillonitea and calcite, French red clay is best suited for normal to oily skin types. Benefits: French Red Clay cleanses, detoxifies and exfoliates the skin, leaving it refreshed, toned and rejuvenated. It is most widely used in cosmetic manufacturing.
Sea Buckthorn: Sea buckthorn oil is well-known today for its healing and rejuvenating effects on the skin. ... It can also help heal burns, cuts, wounds, sunburn, rashes, and other types of skin damage. Using sea buckthorn oil daily helps slow down the signs of aging by nourishing the tissues in your skin and body. #lesleysaligoebotanicals#selfcare#ritual#revolution#bodywash#showergel#body#shower#bath#soap#frenchredclay#seabuckthorn#arganoil

@Regrann from @dont_tread_on_anyone - I love how cops speed drastically all the time but when someone goes 10 mph over the speed limit they deserve to be extorted of hundreds of dollars.

"There are two and only two ways that any economy can be organized. One is by freedom and voluntary choice—the way of the market. The other is by force and dictation—the way of the State."

The Haitian Revolution has often been described as the largest and most successful slave rebellion in the Western Hemisphere. Slaves initiated the rebellion in 1791 and by 1803 they had succeeded in ending not just slavery but French control over the colony.
Led by former slave Toussaint l’Overture, the enslaved would act first, rebelling against the planters on August 21, 1791. By 1792 they controlled a third of the island. Despite reinforcements from France, the area of the colony held by the rebels grew as did the violence on both sides. Before the fighting ended 100,000 of the 500,000 blacks and 24,000 of the 40,000 whites were killed. Nonetheless the former slaves managed to stave off both the French forces and the British who arrived in 1793 to conquer the colony, and who withdrew in 1798 after a series of defeats by l’Overture’s forces. By 1801 l’Overture expanded the revolution beyond Haiti, conquering the neighboring Spanish colony of Santo Domingo (present-day Dominican Republic). He abolished slavery in the Spanish-speaking colony and declared himself Governor-General for life over the entire island of Hispaniola.
Napoleon Bonaparte, now the ruler of France, dispatched General Charles Leclerc, his brother-in-law, and 43,000 French troops to capture L’Overture and restore both French rule and slavery. L’Overture was taken and sent to France where he died in prison in 1803. Jean-Jacques Dessalines, one of l’Overture’s generals and himself a former slave, led the revolutionaries at the Battle of Vertieres on November 18, 1803 where the French forces were defeated. On January 1, 1804, Dessalines declared the nation independent and renamed it Haiti. France became the first nation to recognize its independence. Haiti thus emerged as the first black republic in the world, and the second nation in the western hemisphere (after the United States) to win its independence from a European power.
