Today marks 8 weeks out and im beyond excited. Put on my bikini during the week to send pics and posing video to my coach and it just made me so much more motivated. .

After 6 meals and a McFlurry today I have definitely felt worse. I usually look about 9 months pregnant after I have a cheat meal, my body is finally starting to co-operate with me 🙌🏼 So happy to see changes, such a boost as it's hard to hit the gym every single day, huge difference in the last 6wks🙈 I wonder what the next 14 will bring 😋 #teamgeler
So the current so called off season #bulkingseason is coming to an end in a few weeks before the cut for the October comps and having worked hard in the gym and equally in the kitchen to hopefully achieve a stronger more complete physique for what are becoming very competitive shows I have reached my target weight finally making me the heaviest I have been at the end of any off season to date
This has been achieved with 4500cals of good clean foods consumed in 6 meals daily
Prep for these next events started realistically after the last comp 12months ago so looking forward to seeing the results of my Dorian Yates blood&guts training system with a structured diet regime at all times to achieve the desired results hoping to come in 2kgs heavier than before at 90kgs shredded 💪

Yesterday I got to spend a day packed into a room with some of the most INSPIRING, DEDICATED and DRIVEN people around at #ribbfnationals - it's proof of how much the Irish fitness industry has changed and while that side of it isn't for everyone I honestly sat their in awe of every single competitor! Watching what people put themselves through for love of their sport (which doesn't get anywhere near the recognition it deserves) you can't help but be motivated to go out and push yourself physically to be better at whatever you do! The weeks and months of preparation not just by competitors but also by the equally nervous looking family, friends & coaches was palpable! Seeing @recalibratedbodies and @daniel.brack taking home trophies was a pure example of triumph, dedication and determination over the most unimaginable tragedy & adversity & it was obvious everyone in the room felt it but EVERY competitor exuded that determination, passion and drive that is infectious! A room filled with people who inspire me with their physiques, their knowledge (did go all fan girl on several occasions) and just in general for being incredibly inspiring people in the Irish fitness industry for what they put out! Buzzing to go hit the gym today, seriously motivated and filled with nothing but admiration for all involved yesterday! More recognition needed!!Yesterday wasn't just the culmination of weeks work for the people on stage it was the apex of months, if not years of hard work, determination, sacrifice and a hell of a lot of tan! So I usually have one refeed per week of something of my choice like a takeaway but from now up until the show, we've decided to make my refeed much more controlled- just 100g oats with whey protein and a banana 🍌
It helps me psychologically in prep because if I've a dirty cheat meal, I spend the whole day thinking about my meal and that doesn't help get things done when you're a very busy person who has college, assignments, work, and of course all the training and meal prepping involved with prepping for a show. It's also so hard when none of your family or friends have any idea of how wrecked you are, so you just shut up and keep pushing because it was your own choice to do this in the first place 👆
And yup, I'm in my pyjamas, I'm off for a nap because I barely have any energy to talk to someone or even crack a smile. I don't know how I keep going. I'm up at 4:30 every morning and often not in bed until 11/12 😂🔫 #twoandahalfweeks#ribbf#ribbfnationals#bikiniprep @just_fit_ireland
Really feeling the tiredness of prep this week!! It's so close now and trying to soak up every minute. Although the exhaustion of dieting and training gets the better of me some days, I really do love this entire process and everything it brings. As my Dad always says to me in prep "this is the best you're ever gonna feel (and look)" and it's true.
