#ricemaltsyrup Rice malt syrup is an excellent alternative for honey. #ricemaltsyrup is 100 percent #fructosefree and one of my favourite sweeteners. It is perfect for adding to #smoothies#yoghurt#baking and I also add it to home made #tea#ricemaltsyrup is made from 100% organic brown rice. It is made through culturing rice with enzymes to breakdown the starches and then cooking until it becomes syrup. The final product contains soluble complex carbohydrates, maltose and a small amount of glucose. I choose #pureharvest for quality and cost. Find it in the #bakingsection of your local supermarket.
Even though the ingredients for this cake are expensive, it is 100% worth the money.
Credits go to @tropeaka for the recipe and to @_nobo_ for their Vanilla & Coconut ice-cream 😍 It's definitely the best I've had in a while.
Enjoying a warming cup of #GoldenQuench to cap off our Wednesday evening. Our brand new Golden Quench is the perfect drink to help curb those late night sweet cravings. A unique blend of coconut milk and turmeric with the added benefits of ginger and black pepper 💛
Starting my chilly winter mornings right 🙌🏼 with this oaty-goodness 🤤 1/2 cup wholegrain rolled oats, 1/2 cup almond milk + 1/2 cup water boiled topped with banana, walnuts, chia seeds, dates and "drizzled" (more like unevenly dolloped) tahini+rice malt syrup (hello caramello!) #slowandsweaty#breakfast#oats#winterwarmer#postworkoutfuel
🌼Chocolate Crackles🌼with a twist of course! These delightful little treats are jam packed with antioxidants, omega 3, magnesium and zinc. Just doing a quick look online I saw that a certain packaged brand of chocolate rice lunchbox bars contain 6 different types of sugar, so avoid the junk and give your kids a wholesome choccy treat (they'll never know they're healthy😜). RECIPE:
1 1/2 cups puffed rice
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup white chia seeds
1/4 cup pepitas
1/4 cup organic coconut oil
1 HEAPED tbsp raw organic cacao
1/4 cup sticky sweetener (I used rice malt syrup to make these vegan but you can use honey or maple syrup)
Set out about 20 mini patty pans on a tray and clear a shelf in the fridge. In a saucepan over a LOW heat melt the coconut oil, remove from heat as soon as it liquifies. With a whisk stir in the cacao and syrup until you have a smooth sauce. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir with a spoon until well combined. Spoon into patty pans (makes about 20-22 mini size) and refrigerate for at least 30 mins before eating. These can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a month. #thebarefootkitchen#chocolatecrackles#vegan#lunchboxideas#healthypartyfood#ricemaltsyrup#seeds#nutfree
