While you’re sitting here, someone may be plotting against you. You don’t know. While you’re sitting here, someone may be backbiting and sending a bad txt/e-mail about you. Do we have control over it? Control over one thing. The SMILE😁
@therealkiyosaki coined this phrase.
Focus requires Discipline. ✊🏻 Multitasking is Stupid. 🚫
You may think you are making an efficient decision but you are really just wasting your time. Don't let multitasking fool you. Yes, it works for SOME people. ㊙️🉐㊗️ It's more of a challenge. ✅
Be mindful. Eliminate distraction. .
Who is leveraging your time? I used to wake up every morning and go to work where I would sell my time for low compensation as a ticketed carpenter. Constantly putting myself in un safe conditions in an industrial setting, and wondering if today is the day I breath the cancer causing concrete dust accidentally or maybe have a pipeline full of face melting acid used to break down wood fibre into pulp. And for what? To build someone else's dream. While my employer was busy leveraging my time, skills and experience. I did everything that society tells us that we should do to be successful such as, go to school, get a trade, get a job. For what you ask? So that my employer can leverage me in order to build their corporation and eventually build there dream life style. Throwing me a small perks here and there to keep me hooked like a test rat in a lab being trained with positive re-enforcement. And at the end of it all I might get to retire if the RSP and CPP programs still exists by the time I hit the retirement age, or if industry causing illness doesn't take me first. And than once I try to pull my RSP's once again, the government green little hand will find a way to claim ownership what I have spent a life time building. If you do not prioritize your time, and if you do not take the time to prioritize what is important to you than some one els will do it for you. 12 months ago I panicked when this though came to my mind. So I made a decision to stop sitting around waiting for life to happen too me. I took action, and now I make life happen for me! You do have the power to steer your own ship and decide who, and what you are going to be. If you change the input that goes into your mind, it will change your out look. When you change your outlook it will change your output which will change your results. Change your mind, change your life! #instagood#inspirationalquotes#instapic#carpenter#tradstyle#garyvee#harvard#richdadpoordad#workoutmotivation#workfromhome#entrepreneurlifestyle#dreamy#vacationtime
The hardest thing that I've been dealing with for most of my life is not having my father there for me when I need/needed him the most. My father passed on when I was a teenager, & that grieve is something I still haven't dealt with as an adult. People who I've allowed to be close to me, while I am presently trying to numb the pain - & seek answers/closure - will know how destructive my life has gotten both to my mental, & physical health. It has really gotten worse now that Sekuru is gone.
Even from a early age, the moments we shared traveling to go see mum, & the vacations we would take - helped shape my perspective of life, love, & success.
I still can't believe that's it's been 10years. I really wish you were around during this time, but I gain closure in knowing that you are always with me.
Rest Well, Dad. I Love You. ❤️🕊.
"Quadrant One: Employee
The first two quadrants -- the Es and Ss -- are people who are largely dependent on their jobs for their livelihood. Employees are those who work for a company or organization. They devote most of their waking hours to that company and would be in serious financial trouble if that company were to go under or if they lost their job. Most people, at least at some point in their lives, are employees.
Quadrant Two: Self-Employed
Only slightly-better off than employees are the self-employed, who work for themselves. In a downturned economy, the self-employed may struggle to take on new projects and their time might be filled with trying to find new job leads rather than on making money. While they may have more time to devote to their own projects since they aren't under constant supervision from a company, the self-employed still pay high taxes and are at the mercy of their clients.
Quadrant Three: The third quadrant is composed of business owners, those who have taken their skills as self-employed people and transformed them into running their own enterprises. Business owners have distinct advantages -- they can control production, hire employees and find creative ways to pay taxes, such as writing off business expenses and taking advantage of changes in the economy.
Quadrant Four: Investor
Investors, those in the fourth quadrant, are at the highest level of financial security, according to Kiyosaki. Investors are those who take what they earn and invest it in real estate, savings, bonds and other forms of dividend-producing assets. The goal of investors is to stop working altogether and to live off the income from their investments. The "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" model encourages all people -- even employees in quadrant one -- to become investors. All of us, Kiyosaki says, can save money and start down the path to financial freedom." - From smallbusiness.chron.com
#TBT 2003. First year in the US. The future was uncertain due to the challenges I was facing like many before me: the language barrier, the culture shock, solitude, the wolves 🐺 dressed in sheeps 🐑, betrayal... but at the same time a very exciting adventure. My Faith, my Beliefs, my Dreams were the things that helped me kept it together and going one more round in moments when I felt defeated, tired of fighting. I was resilient and just don’t know when to quit, and I always burn my bridges so I know there is no retreat. I either win or die trying. NEVER GIVE UP HOPE.
