At the beginning of March 2017 Will came on board with us. He took one of the bootcamp sessions which the clients loved and has been an integral part of the team ever since. He was our seventh team member to join ZEN.
He is a strength coach and rehabilitation specialist and has been working as a Personal Trainer since 2009 working with a large range of clients from elite athletes in tennis and triathlon, to clients just beginning their fitness journey.
He's a great fan of weightlifting and conditioning and likes to include this, as well as yoga moves in his sessions. In his spare time he enjoys playing tennis and also plays football for Wandsworth.
This morning's run was great but also really bloody hard. 10miles / 16.5km with multiple hills just for fun (there was lots of chatting). I slowed right down at one point when my lovely and very inspiring friend said to me, 'come on, you can do it!' I kept going, I knew I could but I had started unconsciously panicking. This same friend then said, 'when that happens, take a few deep breaths, breathing to expand your tummy.' I immediately felt relaxed and like I could breathe.
