As I end this beautiful day I reflect on the past year of women showing up, speaking up, and standing up. I remember this time last year feeling completely helpless, but hopeful. Over the last year I have seen a revolution. I have seen women #riseup for those that can’t rise up for themselves. As a female who has felt like a minority her entire life I cannot thank the women and men enough who have come together to fight for my rights and my voice. When I feel helpless I think of the incredible passion and spunk that I have to speak my mind when needed. That’s how I help myself and those that can’t help themselves— I speak up, show up, and stand up. This past year has me incredibly emotional, but I finally feel a sense of calm rush over me because I know that the world is undergoing a tectonic shift in power and that is incredible and about time!!! #TimesUp and women’s, LGBTQ+’s, immigrants’, and minorities’ time is NOW!!! #womensmarch2018#sistersgottasticktogether#mamasaidknockyouout#risefilter
#risefilter of Luna napping and looking out from her perch atop her kennel. This is from yesterday, after I hung her note/story/scroll thingy. It's cute, but it probably won't last long. She still can't figure out her #barkbox toy King Arfur. Can't figure out that shaking it is what makes the giggle-ball noise.
