Coming to China this time was a huge gamble, one that just paid off big time! We are in the main draw of the 3* World Tour event here in Qinzhou! We take on China #1 tomorrow morning at 9am on centre court. Valuable points and experience taken so far with more to learn tomorrow! #chinahascomegood#goodkarma#teamengland#roadtogoldcoast
Did you know all our netballers are working or studying full time as well as training to prepare for the @gc2018? Help us take the pressure off them financially so they can focus on the important stuff on the court by getting behind our team - can you sponsor a netballer?
WHAT A WEEKEND...
Silver Medals for the girls 🥈
So proud of our @netballni girls who won Silver at Netball Europe! A great display of fitness, effort & hardwork over the tournament.
Shout out to @Lisa Bowman_l who got player of the tournament & to Elaine Rice our head coach, who I'm sure is super proud of the girls.

Due to World Champs being postponed, in which my thoughts are still with the people of Mexico during this time. I'm coming home to race at NZ Short Course Nationals starting next week in Auckland. I'm really looking forward to racing at home after a months hard preparation over in Colorado Springs. Big thanks to the @paralympicsnz swim team and @swimming_nz for making this happen! Bring on some racing! #NZSCC17#swimming#roadtogoldcoast
WEIGHTLIFTING | In the Men's 94kgs category at #Ashgabat2017 , Papua New Guinea's Commonwealth Games Gold Medallist Steven Kari snatched 153kgs and clean & jerked 195kgs lifting a total of 348kgs. Kari rounded off the competition in 7th place out of a strong 16. The Gold Medal went to Iranian Sohrab Moradi who lifted a total of 413kgs setting a new World Record! Kari maintained a sturdy composure and looked strong throughout the tournament and has his eyes set on the upcoming Pacific Mini Games in December and, of course, the Commonwealth Games in April next year. #TeamPNG#AIMAG#PNG#Weightlifting#RoadtoGoldCoast
A valiant effort by Thelma Toua in the Women's 48kg category having bettered her performance in the Commonwealth championships 2 weeks ago to lift a total of 158kg.
Here she is being interviewed by EMTV
SO INCREDIBLY PROUD OF THESE GIRLS !! As it's still early in our season we've been working really hard, today we took first place as a senior girls team. I'm so excited to race our first league meet this upcoming week, and see where the season takes us :)) #xc#whsunleashed#sexcgirls#smilesfordays#roadtogoldcoast
* Transformation Tuesday * After a pretty disappointing performance at the British Championships I made the decision to drop a weight class to increase my chances of competing at the Commonweath games. On the 20th of July (exactly one month till comp day) I weighed in at 54.5kg. 6.5kg to lose in 4 weeks, this was a big ask!!! Regardless I decided I was going to stick it out and give it my all as I knew I could be that light .. although I wasn't sure if it could get there in just 4 weeks 🙈. Using the @rpstrength templates.. wrongly I'm learning lol. I managed to chip away at my weight, 10 days out and we're constantly seeing 51 on the scales. 5 days out, we're flying off to Taipei and we are still 51!! Now we are thinking of whether this is really going to happen, luckily I had till about 20 hours before to make the change officially from 53-48. Weighing 49.8 24 hours out we just went for it, it wasn't pleasant, but in my mind I prepared myself for much worse as I didn't even feel like it was as bad as it could of been or that I thought it would be. 47.86kg is what I weighed at a 7am weigh in! I couldn't and still can't believe I saw that number on a scale. So proud that I made it happen and so excited for my future as a 48kg lifter as I feel like I have a lot more in me. Here's to the next cut ✌🏽. #53onto48#foreverafatty#alwayscutting#stillnoabsdoe#maybeacouple#leanbean#commonwealthgames#roadtogoldcoast#workharddreambig#transformationtuesday#weightlossjourney#weightlossmotivation#letsseethegains#longstorybro#illnevertellitagain
Congratulations @alyce_twins from @cougarsweightliftingclub on your bronze medal! 🏅✨ #Repost @angiewydall ・・・
There are many great things about coaching the Australian team at an event such as the Commonwealth and Oceania Championships but one of the best for any coach is seeing your own personal lifters in their best moments. Today I am super proud of @alyce_twins winning a bronze medal with a PB snatch and an 80kg CJ in the 48kg bodyweight category. Congratulations Alyce
