After driving for a couple of hours on a gravel road leading straight into the barren highlands of Iceland, I was ready to head back. But @veerlew has an unstoppable hunger to keep on pushing on, because who knows what is around the next corner?⠀
And sure enough, we ended up at this place: a big glacial lake, with two glacier tongues ending up in the water. ⠀
In four days we will leave on our first world trip together and I cannot wait to see where her hunger to explore will take us.
My time in Southeast Asia was… nearly everything. I don’t know if I’ve taken a trip with as many different pieces as this one.
I managed to freeze in Seoul and sweat in Kuala Lumpur. Some days were spent roughing it in a rural hillside and others called for Thai Massages and all you can eat boat rides. A little bit of work and a little bit of family. A hostel room the size of a prison cell, and a room the following week with a bed that was larger than that whole space.
I finally got the chance to write a little recap. It’s been a while since I’ve blogged, but the link for that is now in my profile.
Today’s shot of the blue hour by our member @t.d.hoffmann .
The beautiful city Rottach-Egern at with its wonderful lighted church in the middle of the mountains, next to the known lake Tegernsee.
