Entering a highly charged energy portal!
New moon (today) to Equinox (Friday). The jewish Holy days of Rosh Hashanah. Mabon, the mid harvest festival and Navaratri!
We are harvesting what we have planted and attended to during spring and summer. A perfect moment to look at the prayers you have focus on, and the gifts that were received.
After the intense and hard work of the eclipses, it's time to consolidate and prepare for fall. The balance between light and dark is shifting. It's a beautiful opportunity to surrender more deeply to our wounds, darkness, shadows, and allow their teachings to be fully seen and understood. It's time to do like the trees, shed our leaves (old stories, what does not serve, unhealthy relationships, addictions, unhealthy habits, etc), and to use this season to inventory what we have harvested this year so we will know what to plant and grow next year in our lives, heart and soul.
A perfect time to focus on the balance between dark & light. As human being we hold those 2 sides and both need nurturing, love and compassion. We can see in the world today the reflection of our inner world into humanity... What are the places of darkness in your life which have the potential to give you beautiful growth when acknowledged and integrated? What are the places of Light in your Life that exist and the one you would like to nurture?
Time for a beautiful renewal.
Time to let go of what does not serve us anymore. Time to cleanse the body, mind spirit and your home.
Time to make space for the new growth.
Time to prepare to dive deeper inside.
Time to slow down.
Time to grow roots.
Are you ready? Because the Universe is ready for you!
I will have a live video in the coming days (Facebook live) with some useful practices and ideas to preapre this new season. Live questions available for you too.
So much love to all of you!
Happy New Moon!
Happy Navaratri! ❤🌍❤
Awesome experience by @artmandosilva at the @lovelandmuseum with @lovelandlulac tonight remembering and celebrating those who have past. #artmando spoke a bit after his paintings about how we remember those we have lost and celebrate their lives in different ways and I immediately thought of my maternal grandparents. Maybe it is because today is #diadelosmuertos but I thought about how after my grandparents died my mother and I would celebrate their lives on the Jewish new year #roshHashanah by going to my grandfathers favorite restaurant...Casa Luis, a Spanish restaurant. Tonight I honor them. Make sure you join us on Sunday at the Loveland library #artmando#diadelosmuertos#lulac#ally#loveland#lovelandcolorado#lovelandart
Today 10/17 at 3:15pm #DonaldJTrump Participates in a #Diwali "Festival of Lights" ceremonial lighting of the Diya(means shining). Diwali starts on 10/19 during a NEW Moon in #Libra (3:11pm ET)
It is called the festival of lights because Diwali marks the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil
The cotton wick in the diya represents the human soul while the ghee or oil represents the 5 evils of human life-desire, anger, greed, attachment and ego.
🔹On 10/19 is #Elul29 on the true Hebrew calendar. (#Shemitah ) —
🎺#Tishri 1 is on 10/20 (means "Beginning/Release") <-- #RoshHashanah is often referred to as “the Feast of Trumpets.” October 29, Tishri 10 (Jubilee 50?) to sound the trumpet throughout the land —
🔹#BarackObama , who was the first president to celebrate Diwali personally at the White House in 2009. He also hoped that his successors would continue the tradition.
Men’s yarmulke fashion is not a Jewish subculture I’m familiar with. I spotted this recently and was for once lost for words. On the one hand it could be so purposefully meta and ironic it’s beyond me. On the other it could be pure appreciation of the North Face brand. On further exploration I discovered a Supreme Yarmulke. Seems this is more of a subculture than I first imagined. I shall head to North London to conduct further research.
The Jewish holidays may be over, but you can always find archival material related to all things #RoshHashanah , #Sukkot , #SimchatTorah & more in the collections of our partners. #Repost @yivoinstitute (@get_repost)
A ticket for Simchat Torah evening services in a Warsaw synagogue, 1926.
From sundown tonight, people the world over will be celebrating #SimchatTorah , during which we take #Judaism 's most sacred object, the #Torah , and dance! Why? The Torah is our inspiration through the festivities that begin our #NewYear : #RoshHashanah , #YomKippur and the first days of #Sukkot . By dancing with the Torah (tonight until Friday), we remember that although the #HighHolyDays stimulates our #soul , the effort of doing #Mitzvot is what carries that inspiration to the rest of the year. So we dance- an action- with the Torah, because inspiration is amazing, but action is #ETERNAL
