Our 8 week shred starts today! So excited, time to finally get those last baby kgs off for good! For those of you still keen to get rid of those stubborn kgs or who want to gain more energy and start eating delicious wholefoods with support, we have a rolling start for our shred which means you can enter the comp anytime up to next Monday, 29 Jan. If you're on the fence, DO IT! It'll kickstart you to a lasting change and will do amazing things for your health. If you don't want to enter the comp then that is no worries too, you can start the shred at anytime!.
One of our morning rituals is to have lemon in a warm glass of water followed by some fasted cardio like a walk. I use a couple of drops of my lemon oil in my water rather then fresh lemons. It takes 50 lemons to fill a 15ml bottle of doTerra lemon oil so 2 drops is around half a lemon. At $13.50 a bottle wholesale, it is a heap cheaper then buying fresh lemons which unless they are organic, will also have toxins from pesticides which will seep into your water from the peel if you soak 😬.
Lemons are a great source of vitamin C and natural antioxidants. Taken internally, they alkalise the body and aid in digestion and metabolism. Lemons are also great detoxifiers, specifically for the liver and kidneys and support healthy respiratory function.

I love the ‘routine’ of my weekends. ✨Friday’s ...date night, when we unwind and reconnect after a long week. .
✨Saturday’s ....when we run errands, catch a movie, get in some active movement together and have dinners with friends or family. .
✨And Sundays, ahhh Sundays.... they are the best!!♥️♥️♥️.
Church or brunch or sometimes both or neither, but always long talks over coffee, lazy afternoons, unwinding, breathing deeper, feeling restored and then getting ready for the week.
Grocery lists set, meals planned, laundry done, schedules aligned and lists made in preparation of what lies ahead..
I’m a routine girl. I love the method of it. It makes me feel like I can accomplish anything and it helps my brain feel like it’s firing on all cylinders. .
I’ve already glanced at tomorrow’s #alexiaclark workout and I am stoked so it’s made savoring my rest day a little tough, BUT knowing what lies ahead for Monday keeps me present in today for it will only pass once... and I don’t want to miss a single second.

No filter for real, just lighting in the gym was very deceiving during today’s always uncomfortable selfie. Today I only had 1 hour until the gym closed so I had to make it quick and effective, Back and traps, traps were more indirect then direct but they put in their part for sure! This is what the hell I did, feel free to mock it.
1. Pyramid scheme wide grip lat pull downs.
2. Standing plate loaded shrug machine superset with front barbell shrugs; 5 sets, keep weight consistent but really focus on form and the squeeze.
3. Plate loaded single arm unilateral pulls, 4 sets, go up in weight each set, 1st set 20 reps, 2nd 15, 3rd 10, 4th 6-8 <———(for example)
4. Dumbbell bent over rows superset with lying incline dumbbell rows(strict form) 4 sets, weight consistent, and always pull through your elbows imagining your hands as hooks.
5. Finished up with single arm dumbbell rows, 5 sets, went up in weight every set.
If you rest roughly 60 seconds between sets there’s no reason you can’t fit this into an hour and be pumped, sweaty and sore the next day!!!! Do it right or don’t do it at all! Good luck everybody!
I am certainly an early riser, and have seen many benefits myself. My January goal was to set a morning routine which has me up at 4:30am during the week. It includes a workout, reading 📖 , 5min of meditation, a good breakfast, and listening to a podcast while I get ready. This has also left me time to get about 30-45min of work in before my work day really kicks in. Any other morning routine recommendations ?!?

Für mich sind im letzten halben Jahr #stift und Blatt #papier (oder #tablet ) zu täglichen Wegbegleitern geworden. Ich habe angefangen jegliche #gedanken , #gefühle und mich beschäftigende Themen runterzuschreiben und somit festzuhalten. Gar nicht so sehr, weil ich es nicht vergessen will oder nochmal nachschlagen möchte, sondern vielmehr, damit ich den #kopf frei kriege und die Worte aus meinem Kopf aufs Papier bringe.
Diese #routine und #angewohnheit hat mir dabei geholfen mein #leben mit wesentlich mehr #aufmerksamkeit und #bewusstsein führen zu können. Leider ist das auch eine Beobachtung, die ich in den letzten Monaten gemacht habe, nämlich, dass viele Menschen ihr Leben nicht bewusst führen, sondern sich unbewusst führen lassen von Dingen wie Konsum, Medien oder anderen Menschen. Daher kann ich es jedem nur wärmstens empfehlen, sich wirklich Mal 10 min Zeit pro Tag zu nehmen und regelmäßig die Dinge zu Papier zu bringen, die einen beschäftigen und warum sie einen beschäftigen.

I've come to the conclusion that I really don't like these Emulsion masks fbg @innisfreeofficial. 😐 Even though the products are in date and haven't been opened, there's such a strange smell about them! It's not that it's perfumed, it's just.... A little stale? 🤔

My biphasic/segmented sleep must-haves 🌙
This week I finally started the sleep schedule I’ve been wanting to implement for weeks. I’m resetting my body’s sleep pattern and I get 2 amazing hours of me time in the middle of the night! I wear my blue-light blocking glasses, do my daily yoga practice and lie on my Shakti mat. This week I’ve been finishing off some books I’ve been slowing making my way through for weeks, and in the coming nights/weeks I’m going to spend my awake time writing, sewing, learning to crochet, anything I want to do but rarely get to ☺️✌🏼
Gewohnheiten zwischen 6 und 8 Uhr morgens: #3 Das Bett machen und die Fenster auf. Diese Gewohnheit trifft allerdings nur auf Tage zu, an denen ich allein übernachte. Da ich das Haus verlasse bevor mein Freund aufsteht, kommt dies nicht immer vor. Es gibt einem aber sonst morgens bereits das Gefühl organisiert zu sein. Und außerdem liegt Pi (unsere Hündin) all zu gern auf dem Bett - besser mit Tagesdecke.
It’s the blooming start of the week again; but to cope with that how do you cope with the morning rush?? Always love hearing ideas of how you guys start your days what works and how it helps your success. last year I was on a mission to figure out what worked for me and nothing really stuck, but what I know for sure is that after getting some great feedback from @businesswithbabies time management is not one of my greatest strengths 😵. Enter paperback calendar and #googlecalendar these two babies are holding me accountable to my tasks and goals and last week was amazing!! I found time in my day, wasn’t stressed about getting it all done ✅ and feel #pumped for this week. Have a good week gotta go cause my day starts at #8 😁
Workout programming for the week to come. I have put myself through thousands of workout routines and programs. My programming is dynamic and has changed so much throughout the years. There is a lot more that goes into workout routines than just getting a cookie cutter routine from somebody that has no scientific evidence behind it. That is a major reason individuals come to me with injuries is because they attempted some program that was recommended to them without being progressively loaded or conditioned properly. Be safe and don’t be afraid to ask questions! Knowledge is power. Educate yourselves and hold your trainers accountable for the decisions they make in regards to your training.
Creating SMART goals🧠 can be a great way to incorporate a new healthy habit into your lifestyle! Many people find they don’t reach their health goals because they’re unspecific, unmeasurable, difficult to achieve, or untimely🤷🏻♂️. Vague goals are almost impossible to reach and can make you feel like you have failed in the long run😓. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Create goals following the SMART guideline. 👆 This is our SMART goal: We will walk for 45 minutes, 3 times a week, for one month. 🚶♀️
We know exactly what activity, for how long, and how often. Notice this is different than saying, “we will walk more”. This way, we know if we met our goal entirely, partially, or not at all 🎯. Either way, we know whatever we do is a success, even if all we did was make a SMART goal, because that’s more than what we did before. 👏🏼

J'ai reçu un coffret de tartelettes @jewelcandlefr de la part de ma copine d'amour @melow.34 pour noël et je ne me lasse pas des senteurs ! Ce soir c'est le Sugarholic qui brûle (vanille et coco 😍) dans un brûleur @yankeecandlefr sublime que j'avais repéré il y a quelques mois.
Les tartelettes ont une durée de vie plutôt sympa (90h il me semble). Généralement je les reverse dans leur étui pour les laisser refroidir et je peux en changer autant de fois que je veux. C'est top ! (J'ai eu une très jolie bague d'ailleurs ! Malheureusement trop grande, mais je vous la montrerai bientôt 😍💍)
