Is not this a true autumn day? Just the still melancholy that I love - that makes life and nature harmonise. The birds are consulting about their migrations, the trees are putting on the hectic or the pallid hues of decay, and begin to strew the ground, that one's very footsteps may not disturb the repose of earth and air, while they give us a scent that is a perfect anodyne to the restless spirit. 🍂🍁
✧ ✧ ✧ I will continue my blabla today 👇🏼
Part 3 (read last 2 posts, otherwise this will not make anyyy sense)
I have a tattoo saying “I am here in this moment” And even today I am stillll learning the meaning of this quote. But it’s on my skin forever (I love this reminder) and I know that this idea is something that will always be present in my life. Living in the moment. And how to practice that and how to get other people to practice that as well, because, all in all, this is the only moment we have. Now
And how I personally see it is; When you have ALL of your senses open, your eyes are looking around, your ears are listening, your nose is detecting all the smells that fly around, you can taste the flavours in your mouth, you know where you are, and how the floor feels like when you walk… When all your senses are open, alert and switched ON. You are present
It also takes time to connect with the present moment, to switch your senses on, to take a breath and to arrive back HERE. What happens when you walk down the street with your eyes attached to the screen, scrolling whatever feed you have open on your phone?
Moment to reflect;
How many times did you ALMOST walk into someone or into a street pole? Who did you see passing you by that moment? What did you hear? What did you smell? How present do you think you were?
