We officially have a new apartment! 🔑 Joe didn't do too bad for picking it out on his own 😉 and the kids love running around in the empty space, for now.
It's going to be a busy few weeks while we balance current life, weddings, packing, and moving into the new place but we're looking forward to the change!
22 minute cardio workout DONE with my girl... and now we can go enjoy pizza!🍕🍕 Which I paid for by working from home btw 💁
It's going to be a crazy fun/busy weekend but if you fill out the link in my bio I PROMISE you I'll get back to you by Sunday night >> why not YOU?
One year of getting my life back on track 🎉🙌💪 I was a huge skeptic of these shakes before I started. Like, why did I need a shake? I'll just eat healthier! 🤦♀️ Except for the fact that I had spent 10 years NOT eating healthier!
It's not just the fact that I get to use this as my prenatal or that I can make it taste better than a PSL - this is what truly saves me every day. It is literally the key part to my meal plans! AND I made the commitment when I started up a year ago that I'd never pay out of pocket for it because as a stay-at-home mom, I don't have extra money to spend 💸💸 and guess what, I haven't paid a dime!
So get real with your excuses.. do you want to live a healthier life or are you going to continue half assing it and hoping for the best results? 🤔 It's your life and your call >> but I'm here to help when you're ready.
BRU//FWB conquered the Brooks Bridge in style last night. Got a chance to catch the sun setting as we crossed over the Choctawhatchee Bay. Props Brewery was a more than gracious host and provided us with our own private post-run dining room with plenty of 🍻 to go around. Make sure you try their Twin Prop Double IPA at 8.5%...makes for the perfect #recoverybeer . See ya next Thursday #werunforbru#brufwb#beerrunnersunite#runmore#drinkbetterbeer
How much do I love this run? A lot. My Shell Ridge 10k is one of my favorite post work trail runs. It's also pretty damn beautiful too. Gotta post those miles to prepare for New York in November. This race was originally a victory lap for the year, but after that disappointing performance at Ironman 70.3 Santa Cruz, I feel like I need to do work on this one. Super excited to go run one of the iconic marathons, see some family, and go visit one of my favorite cities.
My workouts may be slowing down but I'm not going anywhere! I've come to realize that each day I need to be doing some sort of mix of workouts with modifications OR just stretch. That's okay! I know that once I'm cleared to workout post baby, I'll still have everything I need to get going full force again 💪
I spent 10 years putting my fitness on the back burner. I had a gym membership that never got used, would go for half assed runs, tried diet pills at one point, and yo yo dieted to try to lose the weight that I knew didn't belong on my body. I was a skeptic of my current workout programs for SO LONG just because of other peoples opinions -- who hadn't even tried them out themselves 🤦♀️ Once I stopped being a follower and took my LIFE in my own hands, my world changed. I've found me. I'm a happier & healthier mom, wife, family member, and friend. I've gained new friends. I've traveled. I'm facing my fears and moving forward in life each day. All because of a silly scam that entailed using some workout DVDs, drinking a shake, and following a foolproof meal guide. >>I dare you to wake up each day and think "WHY NOT ME?" Don't let others self doubts hold you back from doing what you truly want. I'm here to help. 👭📲
