Made a set of cookie dough protein balls🍪 (NO PROTEIN POWDER!) with some of my FAVORITE ingredients! Adapted this recipe to make it with NO REFINED SUGAR! Talk about delicious and nutritious😍.

- 1 can drained and rinsed chickpeas
-1/2 cup @eatnuttzo #PowerFuelNuttZo
-6 medjool dates
-1 tsp vanilla
-1/4 cup coconut flour
-Pinch of salt
-Mix in of choice: chocolate chips for me!
•In a food processor, combine all wet ingredients and blend until smooth. Then, in a separate bowl, add the processed mixture and fold in coconut flour, salt, and additional mix-ins. Roll into balls and store in fridge for at least 20 minutes before eating🤗.
Shaving 23 seconds off my overall half marathon pace in only 6 months is so motivating for me. I’m honestly feeling the most confident I’ve ever been when thinking about my goals🦄 And even though I want to start spring marathon training like yesterday😬🙃my coach @mtnrunner78 has reminded me that I’ve been go go go for a looong time...2 spring/early summer marathons, training all summer, 2 fall marathons, plus nine other races thrown in - my body needs rest! So, these next few weeks will continue to be easy, but come January I’ll be ready to GO for those tempos, speed workouts, and long runs!🏃🏼♀️👊🏼💥🦄
Twenty years ago today we gave birth to a teeny, tiny little baby girl! Labeled with failure to thrive, that tiny girl that everyone called a little princess grew up into a strong, refined, confident, faithful, feisty, intelligent and accomplished young lady and we couldn’t be more proud of her! Believe me she has not failed to thrive - a straight A college sophomore, English major Art History minor and ncaa track athlete and published poet and world traveler and so much more.
